Hi all, i have a fitness test in 4 wks, a 1.5 mile run. I need to complete the run in under 12.5 mins. Is this possible to do if starting training from scratch. Thanks

what can you do it in now. just get out everyday and put in some distance,if you can try doing more than 1.5 but at a steady pace, and other days do some shorter faster runs.

This is a how long is a piece of string type of question. Even based on knowledge of your training history, current times, general state of health it would still be an uninformed opinion to comment. If you went out for a run today and timed 1.5miles how long would it take you?
Awesome pic, but Tony you're not doing yourself many favours posting up tips on preventing the gag reflex and then a picture of a guy touching his toes - Ak

Easy mate. I was on a course last winter. ALl I did was do weights, no cardio at all. 3 weeks before I needed to do my PFT I started to run every other day, increasing intesity, and got 9.40. 12mins 30 is very doable with 4 weeks training.
