    0.5ml slin pin =50units, 1ml slin pin =100 units mate

        The size of the barrel does not dictate the strength / potency (iu's) of the drug in there.

        eg..I get a bottle that says 10 iu's per ml. I dillute that into a 10ml bottle of water. This is now 1iu per ml.

          Lol I know how to divide, and have been doing that untill now.  what I mean is that the gauge at the top of the insulin pen that you twist around has numbers on it.

          this means you can "dial up" 1, 2 up to 40 but 40 what?

            each no is an 1iu....
            10= 10iu etc.
