How much Maltodextrin in my protein shake?

I'm currently using 2 scoops of protein (60g) pre and post work out. I just bought maltodextrin and the pack suggests drinking 50g post work out, I want to mix it with my protein but it seems excessive - is 60g/25g (maltodextrin) a good combo?

there is no way on earth I could stomach 50g. Seems alot. I thought the reasoning behind this was to have an insulin spike so that the delivery of protein / creatine gets there faster and more direct. Mind you I could be talking through my arse. But 50g...ew!!!

I do not think if you intend to eat again in the same day you need 60g protein post workout and would opt for something more like 35g whey and 20-30g maltodextrin personally. Also I would not have whey to close before training - if you want to consumer something close to rtaining then opt for BCAAs.

I use malto post workout in my shake. Usually one scoop think its around 30-35g tops, this with around 40-45g protien. I use unflavoured whey, mixed with malto it actually tastes pretty nice. I then usually have a meal around an hour or so later.

I have 70g in my shake im mixing it with o,n hydro builder then have solid meal hour and half lata

I'm using MyProtein whey (2 scoops is 60g of protein) and also their maltodextrin which they reccommend using 1.3 scoops of which puts it at 50g. (I also have a 60g protein shake pre-workout). I weight 84kg, 5ft 9" and am trying to build more muscle. If I put my protein needs at 2.5 x kg, I need to consume 210g of protein (120 from shakes and 90g from my meals)
