How much can you Dumbbell Bench Press?

How much can you Dumbbell Bench Press? That is total weight not the weight of each dumbbell so for myself I would select the 80-100 kg as I can bench the 42.5 kg pair. Enjoy chaps. Burp!!!

You've set this up confusingly. I DB press 2 x 60kg DB's yet it looks like you should select the 2nd option, on further reading I should have selected the 4th or 5th option. You've also set it up so the same figures can be distorted (eg I could have chosen 100-120kg or 120kg-140kg - you could choose either if you are benching 120kg!

Sorry for the confusion chaps but its total dumbbell weight. So if you can use the 60 kg pair then select 120 kg. Also its not 1RM but what you use in your working sets. Dumbbells are heavy and I don't want people to kill themselves going for 1RM checks.

Yes but your poll is set up so there are two options to select 120kg: 80-120kg or 120-140kg And no-one really talks about dumbbells as total weight lifted, rather weight per dumbbell.

Not alot. 30kg per hand on an incline quite easily, but on my chest day gym thats the highest DB available! Should prob be doing 70-75kg in total.

I do 3x10 @ 34kg, so put 60-80, on 5x5 used to do 42kg so depends really.

I've done 52.5 for 8 reps on the incline. What my pb is on he flat I have no idea. Reckon currently 55's would be hard. Off course most people have poor ROM on dumbell pressing. worse than barbell normally.

most I've done is 42.5s for my sets on incline, I often make sure I go down far enough for the db to touch my shoulder, which isn't far off the rom i get from bb bench press.

60-80kg for reps. I bench with 32kg DB's for sets of 10. Never tried a one repper with DB's though!

Papa Lazarou Question is, how do you get 200kg worth of DB's off the ground? I struggle getting the 60kg ones up with assistace LOL probably would be quite heavy, i find the 60kg'ers easy to do though, just like a light deadlift, stand up with them, put the ends facing your thighs, then sit down on bench, they will be on your thighs/knees, then just lay back with them, i see big guys getting them handed to them whilst laying down, but i prefer to do it myself, normally they have a weak core, and have been 'spoonfed' the weights so to speak.

I'd much prefer to have heavy dumbbells passed to me. Pain in the ass otherwise.
