Well I've stuck about 5lbs on and dropped a decent amount of bodyfat, so pretty happy with going so far Downside is I'm now too strong for my "weights" system, which is a bit of a bind!! Like Mark I'm going to do a couple of pics on Monday as a half way update.

Haven't felt like training for a while. It's been too cold to get motivation to run when it's so cold. So all in all not the best, but still better than last shape up! must crack on....

My backs in a state which has slowed me down a bit. Cardio has been every day but my birthday weekend was a dietry atom bomb - I've just got back to where I was this time last week I'm just about to phone to docs about the back as I've run out of hope and anti inflams.

Strength - going great. Made an OH Press PB yesterday of 5 x 102kg Cardio - Been doing 4x 50 min AM sessions, 1x PM swim and added a lunchtime Spin class this week. Diet - Still sticking almost rigidly to the plan you sent me James (many thanks BTW in case I didn't at the time) with the exception of a reduction of carbs. Injuries - niggling biceps tendonitis has been kept at bay, lower back sound, no complaints here. Weight - hasn't changed much from 101kg. Waist hasn’t changed either. Not sure if any tangible physical progress has been made really. From the sounds of things, some of you guys are making cracking progress. I'm eagerly awaiting the final pics. I'm in two minds about seeing any of these mid-way progress pics though. Any awesome progress made could either demotivate me because I'm feeling jealous or may give me an extra kick up the arse to not slack off.

Things are going well and i have lost a nice amount of bodyfat, in fact i haven't been this lean for a while im not mega lean but will be looking fantastic at the end of the shape up if i keep it up, had a few issues with one of the meds i was using basically it was knocking me sick but i have swapped it so thats all ok, this week has been my least productive in regards to training but my diet has been good. Training has been crap as was ill since sunday after a jab that was painful and had severe flu symptoms. Have my theory driving test at 2:30 today i hope i pass :)

Ballbag AKA onefatidiot LMC I'm in two minds about seeing any of these mid-way progress pics though. Bad idea for people to do that. Why? It will devalue their final pics perhaps?

the last 6 weeks havent really been too inspiring for various reasons, the gym being closed because of the weather, bday celebrations that managed to last for about 2 weeks haha, a small stint of feeling unwell etc etc. however, 6 weeks remaining and I've stepped it up a gear or two. I'm a lot more focused and have refused any invitations to party over the next 6 weeks. I'm feeling quietly confident.

I've c+cked up the last couple of weeks by simple not going to the gym much- really fallen out of love with my particular one, will be joining a new one as soon as my NUS card comes in the post so hopefully I will be at it 5x a week for the final 4/5 weeks of the comp and make some last minute progress! Tony has set a high standard, but I still feel I can compete with him if I keep on top of it.

ARRRGGHHHHH Could be looking at the first drop out here ! Everything seems to have come to a stand still and i cant decide what the hell i should be doing - had a good three weeks after a late start (new year to blame) managed to get an extra 10 - 12lbs on a cycle of SD, all weights went up, PBs comming out my ar.se every day - however now SD cycle and PCT finished, i am in a limbo of what to do and eat. Trying to cut but dont want to eat less - want more muscle but dont want to eat more. need more CV but dont want to sacrafice my weight sessions as getting better. Then bloody old tennis elbow injury starts niggling, then today i pulled a little muscle in my chest (bruffen and diclofenic sorting that) still no great body shape and no idea where i am going - may just take up darts ! But apprt from that - hope everyone else is comming along well and to plan

Feeling better than I look, ticking along nicely. All the clothes that had got tight are comfy (no slim-fast clown pants yet(!)), and I've discovered the joy of the overhead squat.

Going well so far strength and size is up but no change in body fat which is no concerns as I'm bulking. Not as the size or strength as I once was but its coming back which I'm happy with.
