    Date - 05/01/2012
    Weight - 78.1kg
    Exercise - Spin class
    Diet - Solid today. Low carbs, some chocolate around 3pm.
    Other - Felling pretty annoyed about how christmas was so unhealthy. Got 4 months until this wedding and a stag do during that time so not much to play about with. Determined to drop around 2kgs in a healthy way.

      Exercise - Rest day 
      Diet - Great day apart from 6/7 dark choc digestives (they are like heroin!, only you don't have heroin with a glass of milk :-))
      Other - Here is my typical cutting diet on a weekday (ideally). It includes 6 cups of coffee and 1.5l of water
      8am - Bran flakes with semi-skimmed milk, blueberries, raisins and chopped almonds
      11am - 2 boiled eggs, 1/2 pepper, 2 cherry toms, 15g light cheddar, beetroot, snap peas, small tub hummous
      2pm - Multi-seed roll, 2 slices homemade gammon, 2 slices pickled gherkin, 5g light cheddar, light mayo
      6pm - Bowl homemade bacon and veg soup and 1 slice of toast 
      Exercise
      9pm - Struggle  I usually breakout the chic biccies here. Need to fill the gap with something healthy but sweet. Thinking a homemade choc flapjack (high protein) or something quark based....

        Exercise - rest day
        Diet - so so. Made a Coq au vin for dinner, artic roll for dessert (retro) and a couple of glasses of red wine afterwards.
        Other - really busy day catching up on things after Christmas then cooking dinner for the Gf. Good day but no and tomorrow I am out all day :-(

          Weight - no change
          Exercise - 3rd rest day (poor excuse but simply not had time, being patient this time)
          Diet - pretty good apart from a fruit scone with clotted cream and jam, bloody tasty though)
          Other - one of my new years resolutions was to give up sugar in my tea and coffee. I won't say it has bern hard, simply that I like sugar in my tea and coffee and it's not as good without. He ho, I will get used to it. Plus this will be the first weekend in months I haven't been drinking (properly drinking). A few more of these and things will start moving in the right direction.

            Exercise- Rest day
            Weight - 78.1
            Diet - pretty much spot on today. Low carbs, lots of veg and some good protein
            Other - annoyed today as didn't make the gym again. Bit worried about a mate of mine so spent the evening with her and went to the cinema (watched Goon, funny in bits but not brilliant). Just got back to the flat to cook some soup and make a veg/cheese/egg box (as described above) and then bed. Struggled to get to sleep as trying to figureout how I can help her. Anyway, spin class tomorrow I hope, needing lots of cardio in the next couple of weeks.

              Exercise - Spin class
              Weight - 77.5
              Diet - Excellent. Some chocolate around 3pm, that habit/craving is hard to shift.
              Other - delighted with the weight and taking it as a good sign. Stayed in over the weekend so no binge drinking amd thinking the lower carb, raw veg and healthy soup diet is kicking in a bit. However this weigh in was done after my morning ablutions so expecting it to rise again tomorrow a bit. Current aim is to be <76kg for may. Re. The chocolate craving above, I have some homemade choc/peanut butter protien flapjacks cooling in the fridge. Plan to replace chocolate with these. High protien, slow digesting oats and tasty as hell.

                Exercise - Rest, Homeworkout + stretches, Pull day 
                Weight - 77.5 > 77.4
                Diet - Good and replacing chocolate with homemade high protein chocolate flapjacks
                Other - very happy with weight. Desperate to get to see 76.9kg on the scales. Next couple of weeks for sure!

                  Weight - 77.4kg. This seems consistent now. Want to drop to 77.2 by next Saturday.
                  Exercise - a hearty walk around town
                  Diet - good. Made a sticky chilli chicken and noddles for dinner. Bit of honey, orange, soy sauce in there but not bad overall. No dessert ;-)
                  Other - been on standby for work since Wednesday. Need to have my phone on me at all times and have reception so limits my choices. Needed a few things in town so had a good 2-3 walk but nothing excessive. Got some cracking deals in Gap (not usually a fan). A nice bodywarmer down from £55 to £11.24!!

                    Bit of catching up to do here...
                    Date - 15/16
                    Weight - 77.7kg - risen a bit but not too bad.
                    Exercise - sunday was a day off but pull day in the gym on monday
                    Diet - broke and had a Harry Ramsdens on monday lunch time. Apart from that pretty good.
                    Other - standby for work was a pain but made a few extra quid out of it.

                        Exercise - WENT TO THE GYM THIS MORNING AT 7.30AM - that is all

                            Weight - 77.2kg - ye ha! Met my goal! Big shout but 76.9kg for next saturday morning?
                            Exercise - went to the gym again at 7.30 for cardio.
                            Diet - fresh cream chocolate roulade.... lets never talk of this again.
                            Other - i usually stay at the girlfriends on sunday, tuesday and thursday and i get hoofed out about 7am. Therefore thought that morning cardio could be incorporated. Weight loss is the main aim for the next couple of months after all. It is looking like 1000m rowing, 10k cycle, 100m rowing. Jog to and from the gym.

                              Other - doing my utmost to stay off the empty calories in beer. Sticking to the wine, mostly red. Had about two bottles last night, bit of a sore head today. All good though, better than my normal nights out.

                                    Been a couple of weeks since my last post. Things have been hectic, disappointing though, really want to keep this journal going.

                                    Weight yesterday morning was 76.8kg which is excellent. Determined to continue down to 75.9kg!

                                    Morning cardio mon, wed and Friday is going well.

                                    Knee is still uncomfortable. Thinking about going back to the knee specialist to see what they can do.
