IFBB Worlds 3 athletes fail drug test

Can she compete NABBA or something in the meantime?

 
Nope, because NABBA no longer has a women's physique class....and assuming that she has to serve her ban in that two years it would be difficult for her to compete elsewhere because technically she is still under the IFBB rules and if in time she wants her Pro card she may need to serve an extended ban for competing with another Federation.....the regulations are confused and this truly sucks.

Am I getting these facts right .. in order for the British champ of women's bodybuilding to earn her pro card she has to place top 3 in the Worlds - the ONLY IFBB competition that is tested so if you want your pro card you have no choice to compete there
 
Whereas the overall Men's winner gets his pro card, thereby bypassing the tested Worlds ?

Yup something like that....and only in the UK....The rest of Europe both male and female athletes also have to go to either Europeans NOT tested, or the Worlds, Tested. IFBB World Masters comp is also NOT tested.
One other very famous incident of a high profile failed drug test at the World's was that of Juliette Bergmann in 1988. Juliette Bergmann chose at that time to hang up her bikini and immerse herself in the IFBB federation as judge, administrator etc....13 yrs down the line in 2001 she gets a special invite to the Ms Olympia from good friend Jim Manion and walks away with the only title she hadn't won....beating Iris Kyle....and going on to win the lightweight title two more times. Juliette Bergmann is now the President of the Dutch federation AND the Thailand federation as well as sitting on the IFBB executive committee blah, blah.....oh of course Bill and Wanda are also part of that international committee.

Arguably same is true for vast majority of blokes at the Worlds as well.

LOL, can you imagine the rumours, speculation and conspiracy theorys, if they just gave out procards to people because 'it was obvious they were good enough'  !!

I have spoken to Lisa about this topic.
 
The drug test was purely random and Lisa is obviously very disappointed with the outcome. It is not yet known how long Lisa's ban will be for and she is still in close liaison with the UKBFF about these issues. Lisa does intend to use this year as something positive and to work on her weaker areas and generally improve her physique. She intends to compete with the UKBFF/IFBB who have supported her.
 
Lisa has asked me to pass on her thanks to everyone who has been supportive over this issue and with her bodybuilding career in general.
 
Lisa continues to have the full backing from both me and my colleagues at MuscleTalk. Lisa is one of the best competitors UK female bodybuilding has ever had and I'm sure she will continue to have a promising career both on and off the stage.

You mean like when they gave a Pro card to every class winner (male class winner)

Funny how the IFBB in the US do hand out a Pro Card to the class winners at their championships. I kind of see double standards here anyone else see them??

Wishing Lisa all the best in overcoming this adversity. She is a fantastic athlete.

Personaly i think the whole thing is a joke...how can ifbb test people in the claim of promoting a 'clean' sport..then not test in any other major show, olympia, arnold, etc etc...total pi** take....
 
Lisa is a great girl, and THE BEST physique woman this country has had for a generation...
