That's good then, no need to worry about weight at all then.

Inzer Ironwraps I assume? I hear good things about the Metal All Black wraps, although I do think how you are putting them on is as important as the wrap to a certain extent.

I am using titan thp. However I am thinking of getting some metal black wraps. I want something a bit more stretchier so I can get another wind on when wrapping myself. The new thps are pretty stiff and it is such a bitch to roll and wraps with them. I need them rolled pretty tight to get the winds I need but on my own can be a bitch.

I use a 'sub-x' style of wrapping. Anchor above the knees, wrap a figure of 8 around the patella then wind back down. Getting an extra wind in means I can do an extra wind above the knee before covering back down. In my newer thp's it's an effort to get 3 winds down in them. With help I can get 4 (5 is probably on with an experinced wrapper). But on my own it just tires me out lol

Funnily enough my 280 squat was done in a pair of oldish metal wraps. So I am gona get a pair before the Uni champs.

My wrist wraps are metal and they are very good. Had em 2 years and only now begining to think about replacing them, but won't actually need to for a while yet

CV x 10 mins fast paced walking

The CV mode was actually chasing 3 kids around the school premises. Got the little scrotes and got em out with only a little abuse thrown my way. One kid was looking like he was gona do a runner again. Good call on his part not too attempt it :)

Much to my pleasure I have got the names of the kids and there will be suprise when they are collared tomorrow during school hours. Mind you they are well known scum so may not even care!

I'll have to give those a run (when I go home and don't have to pay for my own food )

There've been articles by Tate and Wendler on there recently; nothing revolutionary, but still good reads

Heavy liftin going on Iain. Nice. Super deads after a big squat session back there.

I didnt realise how much technique was involved in wrapping?!

                  Flynn- equipped lifting can get reallllyyy technical. That's why people enjoy it (or hate it)! Speaking of which;

                  8/10/09

                  Bench press;
                  barx10
                  70x5
                  80x5
                  90x3
                  100x3
                  120x3 (old fury on)
                  140x1
                  152.5x2 (missed 3rd for a tripple pb)
                  170x3 3bp (katana on)
                  180x1 2bp
                  190x1 1bp (pb of sorts)
200x0 (locked up an inch of the board then missed it over my face)
                  180x1 3bp &rt; x 1 2bp (belt of but did't feel right)

                  Dumbbell floor press- 40x13
                  Dumbbel row- 40x25

Okay session. A little tired, not sharp enough and trained at chi uni gym were the bench set up is now worse tha before. New pad on which is too wide and now loose Anyway 152.5x2 was solid, close to a tripple but I'll take it today. Katana work was going well till 200. 190 of 1 board felt nice. Fly up really and just a struggle to time my lockout. However for some reason 200 completly locked up an inch from touching the board. Tried to get it down without loosing form but couldn't. Was pretty spent then and missed badly on the way up and some good spotting and supports meant I kept my good looks and my head on my body Tried the belt of and working down the boards with 180 but stopped after a scrappy 2 board. Increasing looks like my katana is a great board shirt.. but not much use to me in a meet! Ordering a new fury next week!

Assistance work was minimal. Just one set repped out and job done. Was coaching 2 other guys at uni (inclduing Pat) so spent a bit of time doing that inbetween my work. Good fun though.

Will drop the katana work now and continue with ld old shirt until my new one arrives. Raw narrow grip boards and floor press back in as heavy assistance lifts.

Looks like I may be a student again next year lol. Are the Uni champs going to be a regular thing?

New Fury should be a lot easier to use, even I made a Fury work, got a lot out of it thinking back. Checked the price of the Metal Wraps, looks like it will have to be an Xmas pressie.

Yes. Gona be a regular fixture down in Bournmouth.

Yeah checked the metal arps 45 quid at pullums not including p+p!

Been a bit of a debate on sugden about the wraps and may go with a set if inzer or the new titans that are designed to get more winds on. They are 25 quid.

Should be down for the Uni champs, want to get the feel for it seeing as I may be doing it next year.

Plus, i'm sure Dave and your good self wouldn't mind a good cheer.

                                    I recommend these
                                    http://www.zuluglove.co...aps--zulu-defcon-4-p.asp
they're virtually identical to convicts, the stuff the'ye made of is the same as my APT wrist wraps. they're slightly cheaper, and the velcro closure is actually very useful, if decidedly un-hardcore.

                                      Hey Ian,

See you've got hold of an Inzer Max DL.

They are a really nice suit, as good as the Metal Viking Deadlifter IMO (I had both), and easier to use.

Also very well made and thicker fabric than the Metal which stretched out pretty quick.

For some reason I get the feeling velcro on knee wraps is illegal in some PL feds.. not sure though
