Cheers. Next meet is divisonals next sunday. It's in Southampton and I'll be lifting unequipped. Get qualifying total for Brits Unequipped on openers then do whatever feels do-able after that.

Here you go champ, vids from Sunday. The only one I missed was your 180kg bench (damn batteries in my stupid camera ) And for a bit of fun, 10 points for the 1st person to guess who this handsome bearded fella is....

Cheeers Shep! 2-3 months solid raw work, then back in the gear. I'll be squating and benching twice a week in that period whilst easing my deadlift up. Then back to normal plan of 1 session per lift once the equipment goes on. I'll also start using deadlift suit about in april. Nice thing about bench was the shirt was not jacked in any way. Belt loose and collar not pulled down. Def a chance I could open with 180 come next june.

26/11/09 Start of 2 session ra www.cycle ; Squat; barx5 60x2 100x2 120x2 140x3 140x3 (did this set equipped style... left ham did not like it) 140x3 140x3 140x3 Bench press; barx10 60x3 75x3 90x3 90x3 90x3 90x3 90x3 Deadlift; 70x5 120x1 140x1 160x1 180x1 Nice little session approx 60%. I wouldn't normally train this close from my last meet, as I am a lazy sod, but felt as little tech work on the raw lifts was needed towards next weeks unequipped divisionals. Sunday I'll work up to 80%, then next thurs stupidly light session on the comp lifts, then sunday is the meet. Current plan is 195/125/240 for qualifying total the whatever I feel like. ATM I don't feel particulary sharp unequipped!

I mean my tech was the same; lower bar placement wider stance etc. Hence more stress on the inner hamstring... a place I am used to have extra support when doing it that style!

Takes a bit to get raw tech right after a block of equipped work. iIt all feels a bit loose and timing is off. Made worse as I havn't been getting in enough raw work on either squat or bench recently. After this next comp and doing a nice 2 month phase squating and benching twice a week around the 80% mark. That'll sort me out.
