              Deadlift;
              70x5
              120x3
              140x2

              180x2
              200x1
              220x1
              242.5x4 (kinda pb)

              Pin pull (knee height);
              200x2
              220x2
              240x2
              260x2
              280x2

              Various lever pulldonws or rows- 10x5

              Foam rolling etc

              Quality bit of deadlifting today. The DL mojo is back!! You could make an argument that this is pretty much as good a deadlift training set as I have done. The 250x5 was done with a pause but no re-set. This was done all re-set. I don't think I am up to my best but it's close.

              Pin pulls were from an awkward height. Bar on the front of the patella feels stuck out there. Still solid top double.

              Just finished with some light upper back work and some painfull foam rolling!

                            120x5

                            GHR- 6x2

                            Sumo deadlift- 180x2
                            Deadlift- 185x5
                            Power shrug (off the floor)- 190x3

                            Excellent session today. On paper it was 6x6 @ 80% but I realised this was gona be a tall order indeed.

                            Squats were very good and gave my all. Got to 4 sets before it was time to call it a day. Couple of hig/borderline reps in there, but felt very nice. 185x10 would be a goer for sure.

                            Benching was nice. Bench was a tad too high for me. No probs though and I started strong. However I faded pretty fast and the third set was a full on max of 5. Still it was a nice 3 sets of benching.

                            Was gona finish after GHR but the rest of the guys were deadlifting so joined in at the end!

                            I didn't get my full number of sets but did ebnough and was very happy with some improved condition. Early '07 when I was squating 500lbs unequipped I remember a session were I did 190x5 then faded to 190x3. So 6x4 @ 185 is good going. Looking forward to ramping the load up next week. Again I may not go for every set on paper but it's gona be fun!!!

                            All in all had grand old time and very nice to train with the guys down there. Hope to make it down again this end of the year.

                                Cheers Mr M. I have done 300x2 from that height and 365 from just above the knee :)

                                Pin/rack/block pulls are great. However personally I rarely pull from as high as my knees, as my lockout is good enough.

                                Under the knee of upper shins are a good place. If you struggle at lockout rotations of just under knee and mid/upper shins will help.

                                        Hey Iank,

                                        What training routine do you follow? I am looking to switch to powerlifting training, but am unsure how to structure the training :)

                                        Cheers
