Good lifting Ian, all looking solid. Every university should have a powerlifting club, plenty of lads who would be interested i'm sure.

Too true. Even if they do other sports it's good. I have got rugby, judo and long jumper to train and go to meets. The rugby player is now a powerlifter full stop now! If I was at Uni proper I'd set up a proper club. AK- By set 2 of the squats I was blowing! My quads were sore straight after. Now the DOMS are in my hams and glutes. Def creaking today! The 2 hours of shovelling snow at school didn't really help!

No doubt I could have done the session at 80% but it would have been at too high a cost. Very beat from sats training and 2hrs of shovelling snow at school today. Further I am gona stick to 70% for the next 4 weeks (rest of this training block) as my loads on sat's squat/bench session start to kick in.

Was gona cycle back down light (70%ish) but thought there was some gas in this session. Good job to as that's the heavist unequipped deads I've done in the best part of a year! I was actually a bit surprised I pulled rep 2. First was a grind but hit it better on the 2nd rep.... still a grind though. Just finished with a bit of assistance and jobs done.

Great deads. When I was at school many moons ago we were the only school in the area to have a set of weights, it's what got me started when I was about 14 at an after school club.

Good sessions, mate. Pleased to see you've got back that ground on your DLs. How do you find the rolling, not seen that you do this before I don't think. How long do you do?

16.1.10 Bench press; barx15 60x5 75x5 90x3 105x2 115x1 127.5x5 127.5x4 (missed 5th) 127.5x3 127.5x2 127.5x1 Squat; barx5 60x5 105x5 135x3 155x2 175x2 195x5 (pb, but cut last 2 reps.. hands spaced wider than normal) 195x5 (..hands back in smoked it!) 195x4 195x3 Leg curl- 10x3 Roman sit up- 20x1, 5x15x1, 10x10x1 Foam rolling Good session today. Benching was solid. One of those sessions were warms ups felt great but lost a bit of tightness and tech on the working sets. Would have liked another set of 5 but good all the same. Only 2.5kg of my 5RM. Squating was good. I tried having my hands out wider (as I used to squat), but on my first top set I lost power out of the hole. Hence why I probably cut the last 2 reps. Moved my hands back in and demolished the 2nd set of 5. All nice depth and powerfull. Either way 195 is a new 5 pb! Vids to follow

Cheer pal Sorry for the Gangsta look, but the gym was cold, dank, and with my tooth ache I needed some extra warmth to begin with. Thankfully I got some good music on soon after this vid was taken

Very tidy work mate. I set up very similarly and I do it for every set. Including the bar. Each one is good practise I figure.

Awesome squat for 5 Kenders I've started trying to set myself up for each bench set too (albeit not as PL strict as yours), although half the people i ask for a spot don't move back. One day i'm going to get a face full of ballbag

Yes, every set on as bench I set as per above. Whether that's with just the bar, board work or equipped work.
