Its not bad, I've had it a few times. Its not that cost effective compared with Costco and I like to marinate myself so I know what's in it but like I say....its OK

in terms of nutrition fresh i better. i believe those chickens are 110% chicken which means its been re-constituted with soy protein injections etc to give back its nutrients - not for me! plus if you buy bulk at a butchers or costco etc its just as cheap fresh - £16-19 = 20kg

The amount you are going to eat, I would suggest getting something a bit more tasty for starters :-) Obviously we can help ;-)

Don't know if it's advertised on TV but I've bought the diced, cooked chicken breast from Iceland this week. Quick look at the ingredients and turned out it has less cr@p added to it than their regular chicken breasts. Had a portion last night and no problem. Yes it is bland but I'm prepping for competition and can live with it.

I sometimes get the chicken tikka that's cooked then frozen. Once de-frosted it's ready to eat. I think it tastes great.

I often get a bag of frozen chicken from Icelands if Sainsburys have run out, or are being greedy with the deals.... does the works for me, and while it tastes a little bland - nothing a little 'erbs n spices wont fix LOL

Hi jason. i used these chicken breasts a few yrs ago, to be fair, i actually like the taste texture, ok its not as can i say pure as say packed from supermarket or butcher's, but i actually made some pretty descent gains while using this chicken, may not be ideal for contest prep but i dont see any prob's with them, but try & use s-market chicken too, mix n match lol's. try washing in cold water lightly boil them rinse of access then fry, seems to taste less salty(sodium i think)

yep the ready cooked frozen stuff is perfect! a lot less processed than most of the other frozen/packaged chicken in the big named stores - they do plain and tikka AFAIK, the frozen white fish fillets (cod/pollock) are really good too!
