I'm looking to lose a stone in 2 months... 15 November 2009 14:24 (permalink)
can anyone suggest a diet and exercise routine for me? simpler the better

I'm going travelling in 2 months and just wanted to lose some excess fat, I weigh 12st and looking to get to 11st, (i'm aged 26)

I plan to start running before work every morning and cutting the booze completely (normally 7-8 pints a week)

Once the excess fat has gone I will look to bulking but for now I just want rid of some fat as i've always had it.

can anyone help?

Cutting the booze is a great idear, ive lost so much weight since I cutout the after work pints.

I belive this would be a good time to use HIIT? Average weight loss being 2lb a week so you will need to be doubling that to achieve your goal.

You may find that the lack of beer and regulating your intake will be a great start in producing a suitable deficit. I am by no means an expert and will be interested to see what others say. good luck!

Also, might be worth while popping this into the weightloss forum rather than diet?

If you post a sample day of what you're currently eating, then we can advise improvements

A stone should be easily do-able in 2 months and cutting the booze out will help....but yes let's see your diet.

            8.30 Porridge
            10.30 Banana, Green Tea
12.30 Meat with vegetables + potatos/rice (whatever canteen at work provides)
15.00 150g Cottage Cheese with pineapple, Green Tea
18.00 Soup (usually 300 cal) or Vegetables with Meat (chicken usually)
            21.00 150g Cottage Cheese

I've stopped drinking fruit juices and snack on grapes and berries. Stopped eating carbs in evening meal too
