I'm not sure where I should ask this but.. 27 February 2010 18:24 (permalink)
I just joined this website and I am at 17 year old Male, 6"4 , 190 lbs. I am seeking advice on what I should do. I need to bulk up more But I also need to lose a small amount of flab on my stomach to reveal my Abs, If i tense my stomach usually I can see all 6 Abs but relaxed I dont look great. I try to weightlight and do cardio, for example i weightrain like 4 times a week and go for an early morning run 3-4 times a week (1 or 2 HIIT). Should i try to bulk up more or stop weightlifting and increase cardio.
I have 4 months until i go on holiday so I'd like to be in better shape by then.
If this info is helpful yesterday i Benched 2 reps of 85kg.
Diet tips would also be helpful, my usual current diet would be
Breakfast - Branflakes
Lunch - 1 tin of tuna with 2 slices of bread
pre workout - beans with 1 slice of toast
dinner - jacket potato and tuna

I would still try to gain more muscle - maintain your body fat level and you abs will develop

Training - try something like this: http://articles.musclet...cle-volume-training.aspx

Nutrition: your diet is crap - have a look at some of our meal plans to see how to structure a good diet: http://articles.musclet...ybuilding-nutrition.aspx
