Instant Oats and scoops question 05 March 2010 10:20 (permalink)
This is a generic question on oats and scoops. I have a Boditronics 90 ml scoop that gives me a 42g serving of protein (from the container's intructions). If I was to use the same scoop on bulk oats from MP or Bulk Powders, how many grams of carbs would I consume? 45g? 42g?

If you are a company rep, please feel free to state the grams of carbs from your own scoop of oats.

Cheers.

If I was to get the instant oats, how long before working out would I need to consume them? I think MP don't give you scoops (you need to buy them separately) so how many grams of carbs would I be consuming in a 90ml scoop of Boditronics Express Whey?

A 70ml scoop weighs 42g of ultra fine oats of which around 30g are carbs.

So I reckon a 90ml scoop has maybe around 35-40g of carbs.

I have just seen wilks response on another thread.
