Hello Is high insulin level good for your or not? Because in one article I read it helps build muscle and combat cortisol levels....but in another it says that it promotes fat storage. Is dextrose healthy to take pwo in the longterm?
Excuse me for my bad English

PWO insulin spike for reasons you state. Other times a stable glucose level is desired for general health reasons as well as factoring bodybuilding and its outcomes.

In a nutshell, when insulin is high, it means that your body is storing stuff that you've eaten, digested & absorbed. When you're not absorbing stuff, insulin is low and your body is burning stuff (fat & glycogen, mostly). If you consistently eat more than you burn, you gain weight. If you consistently eat less than you burn, you lose weight.
