Drag curls on the iso machine  - I can sooo picture it! Any good? As I did like drag curls when I tried 'em... :-)

I started to do 5 rep sets recently, only warming up on the very first exercise of the day with higher reps - I've seen many magic new numbers being hoisted and have totally moved out of my comfort zone!

Flick - I really like them and will be keeping them in. It's one of those constant tension thingies.

Anyway. back off holidays and had a good old chill out but now fighting fit...except for a bloody RC niggle which needs sorting asap...and revving to go. Training will commense on Sunday and the focus is now to compete next year with the UKBFF in the physique class. This class change decision was made before we went on holiday and since it was made I have been really excited about training and getting ready whereas before I was just sh*tting myself. Training will be changing and pretty much getting back to basics. Nothing too fancy and 3 days a week -

    Sunday - Shoulders & Arms
    Tues - Legs
    Thurs - Chest & Back

Calves, glutes & cardio will be in Mon/Wed/Fri

My main is goal is muscle mass increase but I'll also be looking at wee targets on the 3 biggies, squat, DL & bench - 110kg/150kg/80kg.

It all starts on Sunday. I'll be taking some pics and putting some stats up on Monday.

    I will be using PEDs.

hahahah---yeah Kitty because it's SOOOOO easy to get big ;0) NOT. I doubt I'll be one of the BIG big girls...will just do what I can!

Cheers Fi - I jolly revved!

Off to Ninepacks tomorrow to do shoulders and arms. I may have to stop shoulder pressing for a while as there is a real problem with my left RC and I need to take my own advice. I'll be sticking to raises for a while and seeing physio on Monday. Fingers crossed we'll get it sorted!

Well today was day one of new training and we went over to Ninepacks place for a wee play. Shoulder/RC injury timing is of course priceless but I've taken the decision not to shoulder press for at least 4 weeks so shoulder workouts will be lots of rears and raises. I'll have to see how I go on on chest days but luckily chest isn't a weak point and I think I will be ok on decline and incline but it remains to be seen. Hopefully a combination of rest(ish) physio and massage will sort things out.

We've had a couple more people from the gym expressing their wish to compete next year so plans of action now underway for them. The more the merrier

Had a busy day today and blasted Pam and James through legs. I love my job.

1st leg session with Dan today. Nothing major really. It wil take about a month to really pendle in and the next few weeks will be testing weights for working sets etc.

              Seated Ham Curls
              60lb x 10
              80lb x 10
              90lb x 8
              100lb x 7
              BB Squats
              bar x 15
              60kg x 8
              70kg x 8
              80kg x 8
              90kg x 5
              Leg Press
              195kg x 10
              295kg x 10
              345kg x 8
              Incline Single Leg Curl
              21lb x 10
              28lb x 8 x 2
              35lb x 6
              DB SLDL
              60lb (each DB) x 10
              70lb x 10
              80lb x 9

              That was that.

I had my shoulder battered yesterday, problem is right up along the scapula spine, very tight and VERY fcking sore but we just got stuck in and it feels much better today. I am actually going to take my own advice and not press for a couple of weeks, either shoulder or chest, get some massages and fingers crossed we should be able to sort it.

Just to give a wee idea of food intake...today was -

1- muesli (2 35g protein scoops full) & pro pep
              2 - 150g chicken & 1/2 packet bing brown rice
              3 - as above
              Train
              4 - Extreme Pro 6 & 3 slices fruit loaf
              5 - 180g spuds, 1 egg, 6 whites
              6 - probably a Protein pudding and 30g oats

I am actually missing a meal today but all in all not a bad day.

I don't think so. You may know Rob. Young student is looking at BNBF juniors and Lyndsay likes the bodyfitness kind of spangly glamour so may try her with NABBA toned, Natty Figure or bodyfitness depending on what progress she make over the next few months and we can look at her shape and see which would suit her....or go for more than one. Always options there.

Just had Amy in and she has made such huge progress. Although not the best shape she certainly has condition and has some fabulous bodyparts. I'm just hoping she can nail the posing to show off her physique to it's best and doesn't do scared rabbit headlight thing. lol I think I'm going to go to the finals with her as we've put alot of time and effort in I want to make sure someone is shouting commands out when she's up there lol

Absolutely....although both of them invovle running of some kind ;0)

Today was our 1st back and chest session. Again it will take a couple of weeks to pendle in but all in all a good enough session. I have reconfirmed that BB rows are not for me. I don't feel them in my back at all and they just turn into shrugs and I really don't need mahoooosive traps so I'm going to be sticking to the closer grip T bars when Dan does the BB rows. Shoulder was alos feeling much better so did some lightish pressing for chest and all happy days.

Plan was now inlcine flies but 1st rep showed it wasn't happening for me so I just did 4 sets incline pec dec on 40lb.
