Awwwwwwwww thanks hun! It was really nice to see you and have a good chat.....kinda took my mind off things which was really good. And thank you for the flowers. My bag is now packed, just need to have a bath and take some pics and try to chill out!

Well last workout today. My training partner landed back on the planet after a bit of a bender on Sunday and loosing her bloody phone....I don't call her Space Cadet for nothing. She's Ace!

We did Hams and glutey bottoms. Same as last week but back to front. Am hoping my legs are sore so I'll be distracted by either that or the morphine!

Needless to say I've not had much of an appetite today and I'm just finishing off with a coffee and going to tyr to get some water down my neck b4 midnight so I don't dehydrate too much.

Well folks that's about it for at least a couple of days. I'll love ya's and leave ya's!

RE: It's Just a Ride! - 21 July 2007 11:22
Hey Peeps!

Kitty Paul just told me not to jump off wardrobes before he went to the gym PMFSL! I must have a 'jump off wardrobes' look about me ffs! Thanks again for helping to keep me smiling over the last couple of days x

Steph this has been a long time coming. The thing is I thought it was quite bad until I saw the consultant and he literally said 'piece o pish that' but not exactly those words lmfao. He actually looked quite please that he was going to have an easy morning of it and then afterwards was more interested in looking through my tattoo mags and discussing scarification and nipple tattooing....I'm not sure how reassured I should feel about that TBH

Well as you can gather I'm back home and have been nipped and tucked. As an experience goes it wasn't too bad but it's hardly my ideal of a fun day out either. Pain was bearable and more uncomfy and sore than in pain.....but the drugs sort that out too although they did only give me one play with morphine which was good while it lasted.

I have to most fantastic under garment to wear!!!!!!!! It's a crotchless bodystocking......sounds sexy huh! Well it bloody isn't. Imagine granny flesh coloured super thick lycra starting below ya knees and finishing under ya bust with hook and eye fastenings at the front, bloody braces to go over your shoulders and the fanny bit missing for easy loo access because it takes hours to get in and out of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's bloody devine it is lmfao! I have to wear this at least until next Friday....of joy of bleeding joys!

So apart from my new fashion statement, being a wee bit sore and swollen I actually feel really good. The wound is not as long as I anticipated. I can't really assess how good/bad the whole thing is yet because of the swelling. I can however see where my abs have been tugged back together by looking at my waist line. I've still got a long way to go recovery wise but hopefully I'll keep my track record of good swift recovery!

If anyone ever asks you what the worst thing is about this whole thing.....
Trying to have a poo after all the constipating medication!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought I'd given birth to a fecking whale!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's soup and oatibix for me for the next few weeks that's for sure. Aint nothing solid passing these lips......and I mean NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love ya's and Leave Ya's

xxxxx

Ok.....bored already! This doesn't bode well because I've got at least another 2 weeks of doing feck all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do feel better today but boy can I sleep lmfao. All I've done is watch cr@p tv (this from the house that only has an indoor ariel that we move about to get a picture because we hardly watch tv), eat soup or anything liquid (including icecreammedicinal), potter from downstairs to upstairs and then flake out knackered and sleep!

I wonder if I can count going up and down the stairs as step ups??????
Lifting water bottle = bi's
Hoiking myself up of the bed = shoulders/chest/back.
Giving botty birth to elephants = abs

Oh and giggling bloody hurts, especially when like me you have a reet good belly laugh. Note to self to be a miserable cow for a while!

It will be worth it in the long run

If you're bored have a go at some online games, careful as they can be addictive so if you're on dial up it'll cost a packet http://jayisgames.com/allgames.php

Well I've just been and had my stitches taken out of my new bellybutton and the paper ones taken of the lower incision. It all still looks pretty manky and scabby and swollen which I completely expect but it is such an improvement and hopefully will just improve from here on in! Definitely not cropped top material yet lol. And bonus of bonuses the nurse gave me a different tummy support thing to put on instead of my lovely body stocking. She also said I can go and get cycling shorts and nice lady tummy support knickers!!!!! FFS I never thought I'd be excited about buying those passion killers But plus point on that bodystocking thing I think some of my cellulite has gone offa me bum lmfao!

All in all a really good day so far. I was petrified that the wounds wouldn't heal properly and they still haven't healed completely and I'll breath a sigh of BIG relief when they do. The skin is afterall there as a protective layer for everything inside and I'd like that barrier back complete. So fingers crossed and sat here pleasedly looking like a scabby, slightly crinkly patchwork quilt.....Ain't life Sweet!!!!!!

Great stuff you scabby git

Get to M&S they have got some lacey support undies in there that will still look a little more fetching than a traditional girdle FPMSL

I didn't get to M&S but got to TK Max. Oh my word I never knew that there was such a variety of non sex inducing underwear!!!!!!! I mean these things are just in a class of their own. They are however slightly better than my fantastic body stocking (have I mentioned that yet?????). It takes about 10 minutes to get these bleeding things on and another 15 to get em off so they are hardly easy access passion quickies....at least its giving me a workout every time I need to pee!

I actually can't beleive how pooped I felt after wandering around a retail park for an hour. It's so frustrating, I'm not ill enough (not ill at all but you know what I mean) to be ill BUT not well enough to be well!!!!! I'm back at the gym tomorrow as Paul has to do jury service (how happy is he? NOT) and I have to cover. I obviously won't be working out whilst I'm there but at least I'll have people to talk to during the day.....even if it is chatting complete bllx!!!!!!!!

You don't know what a sly happy smug smile I have on my face when I type that. New goal when ready again to train......look the bllx in my new bikini on a beach in New Zealand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll have about 10 weeks to do this in so watch this space! (No not the gap between my bloody ears)

I have a great idea for raising some money. For everyone that asks to look at your scars then they should donate £1 to a worthy cause (ie, our cheesecake fund)

Cheesecake fund will be officially opened tomorrow!

Rags The support garment that I was given really was excessive, it's actually one that is used for lypo and the nurse I've been seeing told me to get some support knickers and gave me this tummy wrap thing but that irratated the wound too much. So I chop and change things around but keep my tummy supported.

Well not much to repoert really. I'm back in the gym but only behind the counter so I don't think that really counts lol. It's nice to be back in there though. As well as not training I'm really missing massaging. I love my job, so appart from the lack of income being self employed, I really miss doing something that I love. It's just so physical though that I can't risk going back to it until I'm well and truely ready.

My abs feel much better too but they are still really swollen just below my ribs. I'm going to start taking my kre-evolution again today, twice a day to help with the muscle repair. Weight wise I've stayed pretty constant, just dropped a few lbs and down to 61kg, its probably less but there is still some swelling. I've definitely lost some muscle too but that's just the way it's gonna be and that can also be rectified. My belly button has completely healed but the lower incision still has a way to go. Roll on time!!!!!

I've got nothing to bloody report apart from discussing my scar....which has healed fantastically except for one spot which is actually weeping in one little place so going to get it checked out tomorrow.

Apart from that the only thing I've done is become addicted to Carnivale, a very bizzare series set around a carnival during the depression.

Oh and my nightly slug hunting trip around the garden to stop the bugger eating all me lettuces.

Hardly training journal update of the year now is it lmfao!
