Well I went shopping today for my last bits and bobs....ffs how stressful is shopping...with all people!!!!!!!!!! I did get to the gym until about 3pm so I trained late and just did bi's and shoulders. Forearm is still giving me a bit of jip so had to work around it. Kept things nice and simple. Then that lovely man of mine took me out for our tea to Cafe Rouge and it was jolly naughty and scrummy and I couldn't give a flying fladoodle!!!!!!!!!!

PMSL...Nothing we eat out at least once a week! He's a good spud!

Jolly nice and quick back day today with DB rows, T bar row, rope rows and single arm cable rows. It was all nice and quick and went the heaviest I've done on DB rows with the 45lbs for 8. Pretty much an eventless day except a new client was very bloody late which annoys the sh*t out on me. Then watched Paul trying to break himself before we go away squatting 5 & 1/2 plates aside. Have told him I'm not wheeling him around NZ in a whhelchair! PMSL

I wouldn't put it past him!

Well a busy couple of days. Went to the NABBA Uni yesterday and had an ace time but missed some classes I wanted to see. Training thurs(back) and Fri (legs) went jolly well. I've also just realised that I never include the weight of the bar when posting my bar work stuff lmfao so some of my lifts have just gone up 20kg LMFAO. I'm such a nork....

Tomorrow should be a fun day. Kitty is coming down to train with Paul and I'm planning of taking some pics and maybe filming too. I've got 3 clients in too so I'll have to squeeze my training in somewhere. I might just do majority compound this week before we go away just for a change....but there again that can all change when I come to train. I might even manage to put the correct weight lmfao!

Well we're only 4 more sleeps away

Today was a nice fun hectic day....that still hasn't stopped. Although my eating went to pot today and I've not eaten enough at all. I knew what I had to do today and planned my meal times accordingly then a bloody client didn't show up and it threw everything out. So from 11.30 til tea at 7.30 I'd had nowt but a carb drink and Build n Recover after my workout and then had a 90 min massage to do. Bloody clients!!!!
On the upside Kitty came in today to do some training with Paul and I took some jolly nice photos. We had fun (well I did I'm not sure if Kitty did lol). I trained straight after with a quick chest and bi's, then sunbedded then the massage. I love it when my day flies by lol But then you realise that you still have a million and one things to do

I won't have a word said against that man. Nor anyone who squats. However in light of your concerns, may I suggest that a Texan power bar would alleviate your worrys

I think this may have been mentioned before....we will be having a word with Mr Claus...although I'm not sure if it's top of your wish list or Paul's.

BTW Paul said nice squats (we watched the youtube stuff) but I'm sure I can come up with a nicer way of saying sorry.....but only for Paul You'll have to settle for a pie...Dawsons of course!

Kitty it wasn't that that through me out...I'm blaming my clients...end of! In fact one of my clients got their money back today and politely told to fcough. He messed me about last week and was over 30 mins late. So his hour's appointment got cut to 30 mins. Then he phoned up yesterday asking if he could have a later appointment for today which I told him was not possible as I had another client in after him.... so he turned up 25 mins late I told him again he was only getting 30 mins when he asked if he could still have his full hour!!!!!!!! THEN when it came to pay he gave me a fkin fiver and said someone would drop the rest off later. Paul took the fiver, follwed him down the stairs and said...'Here mate your money....we don't want custom like yours...now fcough' PMSL He said he was gobsmacked. I was on the phone to another client and missed it. I do love Mr G for being like this...no nonsense and it's the joys of being self employed

Well after that little episode me and Space Cadet had our last leg day before I disapear so we kept it nice and simple with no isolations for a good all round workout. I am also falling in love with squats No Texas Bar needed for me yet though Pete

Rear leg Raised Lunges 10lbDB
3x20
1x15 Still killer but have become much easier. I could have gone heavier on these today but did higher reps instead.

BB Squats
12 x 20kg (bar PMSL) warm up
12x30kg
12 x 40kg
10x50kg

Leg Press

4x 20 @ 130kg - 4 different foot placings.

Was jolly pooped after. I only did 40 mins yomping this morning but had a few clients in to make up for it!!!!!!! Ok that is now an excuse and I'm winding down.....Feeling guilty??????? NOPE

Not bad squats them either if you've only just started

Well it was my last day today I did some back and shoulders and then had 2 clients. I have to say I've been pooped today for some reason. Maybe I need a holiday I'm sure we'll find gyms on our travels and it will actually be fun to train with Paul for a change....he doesn't usually do big boy stuff when we are away so hopefully I'll be able to keep up lol. And we always do plenty of walking. It's getting very exciting now

PMSL!!!!! We have been during a grand tour of NZ gym's on our travels and had some cracking workouts. My happy holiday training partner wasn't too bad either.

Pete dind't get a chance for pies as their were OBVIOUSLY plenty of people in NZ who really had ate all the f888ing pies.

Will do a proper update when my brain catches up but I have managed to get my squat up to 60Kg

RE: It's Just a Ride! - 05 December 2007 20:18
Well 1st day back at work today after our mega adventure. We landed back at home at about 7am yesterday morning after about 30 hours of travelling. The holiday was just ace, did loads of travelling around NZ and just had a cracking time. We ate pretty well while we were away and did LOADS of walking and managed to train well too at various gyms we found on our travels. Training with paul was good fun and not having to do cardio on the treadmill because we were wandering around all the time was even better

I spent yesterday chilling out and got a couple of hours kip in the afternoon then had an early night. Woke up feeling refreshed and ready to climb back into the swing of things. I even did and an hours cardio and trained legs lol. I have to say I feel shattered right now though and am planning on a early night.

Legs

Rear Leg Raised Lunges (db)
10x20lb x 2
10x25lb x 1

BB Squats
40kg x 10
50kg x 8
60kg x 7

Leg Press
90kg x 12
140kg x 12
190kg x 10
240kg x 6

Leg Extensions
2 plates x 10 (plates 12lb)
3 x 10
4 x 10
5 x 8

I left it at that for today. My legs are SO full of water from the flight it's unbelievable. All the time I was away I hardly had any water retention which was really good but at the moment they are like 2 balloons. I have canckles lol....very attractive. I weighed myself this morning and was 65kg so I reckon I've put on a couple of pounds whilst we were away but will only get a more accurate idea when my legs stop being the mitchellin man's. I felt pretty lean while I was away and my pants are falling down so something has changed (probably my pants stretching lmfao).

Well that's about all I can manage for tonight....am officially fkt and ready for the land of nod!

RE: It's Just a Ride! - 06 December 2007 21:46
Well I have to say my body clock is definitley not quite right. I woke up at 4am this morning as bright as a button so I got up had a sarny and a cuppa and watched **** on TV until it was time to do the mormal getty ready for work things in the morning. Then this evening I could hardly keep my eyes open after dinner and have come on the pc because I'm not getting in bed at 8pm ffs!!!!!

Well apart from that it's been a jolly good day. Trained back and shoulders with Paul as he is still Billy No Mates training partnerwise(although we did manage to draft a new recruit to kill just before we left for him....thank fk for that because there is NO way I was gonna do legs with him lmfao). So that will make me Billy No Mates then as of tomorrow as I haven't seen sight nor sound of Space Cadet since we've been back. Ah well I will miss him but I'm sure I can still rope him in to spot me if needed (preferably not in the farting state he is in at the moment though ffs)!

Anyway this is what we did.

Iso Shoulder Press.
15kg (each side) 8x single, 8x double
20kg 6 xsingle, 6 x double
25kg 3 single, 3 double
25kg 6 x double

Reverse Pec Deck
3pltes x 10
4x8
4x6
4x6

Side Laterals - This is the 1st time I have done these pain for for months due to a niggle running right down my forarm. Have slightly adjusted the vertical stance to a slightly diagonal one and this appears to have sorted the problem.
4 sets x 12@ 5kg

DB Shrugs
30lbx10
35lbx8
40lbx8

Bent Over DB Rows
30lbx10
35lbx10
40lbx8
45lbx6

Cable Rope Rows
5,6, 7 plates x8-10

Close Grip Pull Downs
5,6, 7 plates 8-12

Straight Arm Lat Pull Downs

3 x 12
4 x 10 3 sets.

That was me done and dusted. I managed to jump on the treadmill for an hour today too. The water in my legs is disapearing too, I taken some herbal diaretics so they seem to be doing the trick. Although my tummy above my scare has some swelling too but the doc said that that could happen for up to 12 months. So now instead of cankles I have a pot belly....int life just a bunch o roses lmfao!!!!!!!!!!!

At my mum's gym there used to be 2 women, then I left; so now it's just poor mummy on her tod!

I'm sure you'll soon be back on track with your body clock, it always surprises me how long it takes me to get back into the swing of things after a long-haul flight, and you've been off gallivanting around the other side of the world so you're allowed even longer than that! Glad you had a fabaroony time.
