Did bodyfat measurements this eve on the Tanita's they brought me out at 17% Bodyfat which is a 3% loss in 3 weeks :-) No a.m. cardio today as day off training, helped a friend move (far away :-( ) and got stuff ready for hols. Computer v.sick atm so not sure if I'll get back online before I go away, if not I shall talk to y'all when I return! Hope to update with last weigh in before I go away. P.S. Very happy as lovely client bought me Chocolate Werthers for my bday woop!!

Ta Daz! I'll eat some Werthers for us both this weekend! Nearly forgot - plan for whilst I'm away: A.M. oats, whey (taking with me), banana. Brekkie out once every 3 days Meals through day primarily whey and rice cakes or protein bars x3 Evening meal: Eating out sometimes clean, sometimes naughty Aiming to keep weight under 9st 7lbs (depending on what I weigh in at this week) with a 20kg rucksack to carry around I'm hoping this won't be a prob! There I've said it now so it'll have to be true!!!!

Had a sh1t day today... Think I'm getting a cold cos my knob face boyf wouldn't pick me up from home to take me to the gym - where he was going anyway! Cycled to work in the pi$$ing rain when it could've been avoided... He then passed me over for trainnig to train with his irreliable mate instead... Nice... And lastly cooked a load of chicken that was gone off cos he left it too many days before cooking it. :-D And had a BIGGGG row with another PT in my gym who thinks it's appropriate to park in the disable spaces outside the gym because "he doesn't wanna have to carry his kit that far"... GRRRRRRRRR! Trained Shoulders today: Shoulder press machine Cable side delt raise Cable rear delt raise Plate raise and press Cable overhead press to finish on a buuuurrrrrn! Did my 20mins cardio PWO today as really didn't have time this morning... Just want this poop week to be over! Highlight of my day: 1) Getting a big birthday parcel through the post from Annie U today :-) Not opened it but I feel a special girlie :-) G'nite all!

Right: Kitty - he was back to his old tricks this morning... Dazc - add a handle to a cable machine halfway up and press it (almost behind your head) The wobble makes it an AWSOME exercise! Jedi - thankyou for the photo! Apparently Chicken was off - I ate two portions but the indelible stomach withstood them (yes I knew it was off)... :-/ Carl however, poorly tum today - karma for being a sh1t yesterday I say... Fi - useful as always... Welshy - today couldn't have got much worse NorthernGal lol... Today a.m.cardio done after 7 hours sleep Workout done at 11am Arms: Seated Barbell Bicep curl s/set with Overhead upright barbell tri extension thingy Rope bicep curl s/set with Rope overhead tri extension Tri weighted dips Bicep curl machine OUCH! Weighted in today as off diet from tomorrow or Sunday: 2lbs lost again Final pre-holiday weight 9st 3lbs WOOP!

Daz good question - I have to confess I'm not a big one for the mirror or noticing changes, I'd rather not look and get Karen to look at me. I guess I'd say my legs are no harder or softer, just the same. Weight is coming off them as I can not fit into my 'dieting' jeans :-D Whatit has let me do is really work my upper bod into oblivion - I've had some cracking arm and Shoulder workouts because normally Biceps would be in with Back and Tri's in with Chest. I prefer it this way and would probably just train my legs for the final 4 weeks (leaving the last week off) if it was up to me. Will have to see what the boss says when I return... Micky - am still waiting for my first Physique win - am looking forward to it later on this year! Already found one lady doing my class - made me really really nervous as soon as I found out! Some things never change! It's been nice that the diet hasn't been a battle for once thus far... I guess that's because I'm so active with my new career so have managed to keep cals quite high and still lose 2lbs a week. Long may that continue! :-D Tonight house to myslf - and trying to pack... Could be interesting... :-/ Expect tantrums!

Sets are reps for that particular workout were: Shoulder press machine 1x15 (warm up), 2x 6-12 reps Cable side delt raise 3x 6-12 reps Cable rear delt raise 3 x 6-12 reps Plate raise and press 3x 10 raise and 10 press Cable overhead press 2x max reps (til it burns!) Dazc says you might end up doing Physique this year - hopefully I might get to share a stage with you later on in the year! I'll prob see you at one of the shows before that though! Flick

EVERYONE has stronger Shoulders than me!!! Infact, most people I know are stronger than me!!! I literally train to be a bodybuilder, not really for 'strength' per se anymore... :-) Shoulder press machine bout 30kgs for 6 reps Side lat cable raise 6.25kgs a side for 6 reps Rear delt raise 12kg dumbells Plate raise and press 15kgs I used to post all my weights, not got time these days... I'm such a stickler for form, I don't push myself as hard as I could because I try really really hard not to let my form go at all - Chrissie was on the other end of my lectures regularly when I went to visit her!! But then she has not great form sometimes and has grown tremendously in her upper bod...

Form is very strict within my training too. You may have been told by DazC about my job which is basically teaching injury prevention. Obviously form is paramount to staying free from injury. While poor form may appear not to immediately have any adverse affects, over time it can absolutely have profound affects to the inner Biomechanics of any athlete. I would strongly recommend that any strength althete to always consider strict form during weights sessions. Going to begin my journal this week!

You given up fighting moving into Physique yet? ;-p Hope prep's going well NorthernGal awwwww! Thanks! So, in Burnaby, in someone's house (a B&B apparently) typing this... In the past week have been to Vancouver, Tofino, Victoria, Seattle, back to Victoria, into Vancouver (if Burnaby counts) and am staying in Vancouver from tomoz til Tuesday. Have managed to blag me and Carl week passes into Steve Nash Fitness World -the LUSHEST gym I've ever been in for the week so can get some training done! Food has been sporadic in between amazingly good and horrifically horrific. We bought some oats out here '9 Grain' and I have them most mornings with Whey that I brought out with me. The nicest thing about being here is even 7 Eleven sells Protein Bars!!! :-D I've been lured by trying all the different 'candy' though -D'OH! But my 13-year old's army trews still fit which was my guage. I was doing pretty much 10k walk a day last week (and the hills are hugggeee!) Bestest part of the trip thus far has been Victoria and whale watching in Tofino followed by Hot Springs. This week am looking forward to going snowbaording at Grouse Mountain and going over Capilano Suspension Bridge. Doubt if I'll be online again for another week but hope you're all doing good!

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooo not a physique gal angel......if I thought I could do the class justice, i'd maybe consider it but nooooooo, I have mares about closed fist posing!!! OOOOOOOOOO I have news.....the world of Bling is on the move....well, from Cardross to Freuchie, fife....but it's 30 mins from Edinburgh airport and about 20 mins from Perth (although 90 mins from the SECC!!)
