Aww Welshy... My system's a bit awol atm so I didn't train today (to make up for yesterday), but I still taught my hour Strictly with gusto!
Why don't you suffer anymore? I went onto Progesterone-only pill, which was amazing for Month 1, but Month 2 and I'm back to usual agony and tears.

Diet now, as promised to myself has been as listed for the past 9 days. The only deviation was one afternoon where we had no Chicken, no tuna, no protein in the house, so instead of cottage cheese with oatcakes I had to have peanut butter! So I'm feeling really proud of myself and determined to go out and enjoy my Turkish night tonight and have some nice food, then get cracking all over again!

Diet will be same as originally posted for this period except oatcakes may change for rice cakes; and Salmon will switch for Steak or Lean Mince during the week. No cheat next weekend, will have one one evening the week after to get out of the habit of having them at weekends. Hoping to see Karen next Friday (technically I should cheat whilst I can lol)


I swapped to Mercilon which I think is a combination pill, periods are very light now and only get a little tummy ache every once in a while.

    I actually prefer Oatcakes, but I always get ricecakes to diet, so may as well start as I meant to go on...

    Last night's cheat a bit of a wash out tbh, everyone decided to get 'Meze' as they were drinking and more bothered about that. So didn't really eat much and certainly didn't get the cheat I wanted. I feel really cheated now and want another cheat :-( BUT I made an agreement with myself so need to get on with it...

    Woke at 8 today, had a cup of cha, then went back to sleep, next thing I knew it was midday! Knew I was tired but not THAT tired!

    Welshy - maybe I need to go back to docs... I'm just running out of bother for myself to be honest, feels like I've been backward and forward for AGGGGES! GRRRR

      Oh god I hate that, you have a nice cheat meal planned and then it all goes to pot and you have ages to wait until the next one .. GRRRRRR!!!!

      If you're having problems every month I would certainly get down the docs or the FPA - that's where I go as I find the appointments more convenient and they know more about what's available.

        oh bad cheat meal, that is gutting i would be i tears, i have 2 weeks until i get my first cheat meal and i already planning it, if it goes wrong i will be very upset.

          When I diet, I know I'll probbo gt one cheat in 20 weeks (luckily for me it won't actually be 20 weeks this time, more like 14!) But still won't get one... :-(

          I really should be getting them in now lol but I want to grow sooooo badly I don't want to feed my muscles rubbish. My tummy likes it but they don't and I have armies I need to grow!

            i still eat rice cakes from time to time, they are lush!
            oat cakes...well... i've been scarred for life from 'oatibix' so any other oat varients except for porridge is out of the question lol

                  Flick in all my diets I always have had a cheat half day really!! sunday was my pig out afternoon after hammering the cardio and doing hours of cleaning round the house garden etc anything to keep burning kcals and then it was huge sunday dinner, a family gateux to myself and anything else that got in my way till bed time haha!!After 6 and half days of killing my-self this really revved up my metabolism nd kept me sane.. not sure if this will be on my new sheet when James gives it to me though ;-(

                    Even during comp prep? Karen Marillier preps me and rarely gives me a cheat but I can handle it - most of the time!

                              I love rice cakes (S&V from Tesco or Snack a Jacks) and oat cakes (Nairns). I use them pretty often but cut them out in favour of a better/cleaner carb source closer to a comp.

                                  The Tesco S&V ones are my fave too! And Cheese Oatcakes! But it'll be plain rice cakes all the way during prep! And they get cut out about two weeks before the comp anyway... :-(
