Gutted about your bike.
No.
Really.
It is bad enough for an 'ordinary bike' to be taken but that one had such a good story attached, it was indeed special.
Could a replacement be stored indoors?

Actually, on reflection, it was the story attached of your boyf buying you a bike and teaching you to ride it that was special.
At least no-one can steal that

Are you driving over on the Sunday or staying in Newport? I'm arriving about 7.30pm...

Jedi - it was the bestest present I've ever been bought, am soooo gutted.

But Carl has fixed up an old bike for me and did it last night in the pouring rain  - I love him so much! Am gutted he's not coming to play this weekend but am sure he'll enjoying the house to himself...

We're driving down on Saturday and staying Sunday night too. Sunday is now a high carb and a cheat meal day for me so I'm hoping to join everyone after the show if there are any plans. Oh why's Carl not coming?

CD, needs my foot up her bum!! No wonder she doesn't post much on here anymore

Re:JOURNEY TO LEGS OF A GODDESS MARCH 2009 GOALS ON P.150 - 10 July 2009 12:25
I think CD might be doing the Northern...

I'm arriving late Sat evening, gonna get in training and clients first.

This week has been sporadic, feels like 2 steps forward 5 back. I've been v.down with the bike theft and have been tucking into Pizza like no-one's business (shame cos weight loss was going quite well)

I managed to do some really good Plyo/fitness practice on Weds, followed by 10mins cardio.

Thurs couldn't bring myself to train so I did 30mins fast paced, incline walking whilst watching Eastenders.

Today I superset Bi's and Tri's with Carl and then did 35mins on teh X-trainer while chatting and watching Big Bro

Looking forward to Wales this weekend, please be kind to me, I feel so fat and yukky atm... Need a bit of oomph

No need to feel fat and yukky Flick. We all know what it's like in this game and have to accept we need to put on weight when we aren't competing, as annoying as it is to us all as individuals but I don't think we ever look as bad as we think we look to ourselves. I couldn't care what you look like, it's still the same old you

Had a good weekend, but it still didn't give me any oomph...

Writing show report was uber tough! But glad I caught up with Cookie Dough to talk to her and can't wait to see her on stage :-)

Kitty looking nicely on track and relaxed :-)

I've injured my rectus femoris, too much plyometrics apparently, have to completely rest it now, tried to train legs on Friday, couldn't even squat 20kgs :-( Have been icing it and taking anti-inflams...Fingers crossed I'll be back to it soon, have had some yummy foodies over the weekend to console myself

You need a bloody good kick up the arse!!!!!!!!!!!!

You looked stunning this weekend. You've put on some decent size on shoulders and arms and you're certainly not carrying a lot of weight to boot!! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw you after reading how you were feeling but come on, going to shows makes anyone feel fat when you see the girls in their bikinis....even though I'm 3 weeks out I felt fat next to them.

You are still more chilled out and relaxed too than when I first met you....I shall be totally honest and blunt with you but I thought when we first met you were completely negative.......that side of you has gone so I don't want to hear anymore of this unnecessary wallowing it doesn't suit the new Flick . You know me mate, I tell it how it is, like it or lump it but you know I'll be honest. I WANT THE NEW FLICK

I'm not sure whether the new Flick is a result of love, new surroundings, my Prozac or the fact that I'm just not posting a lot of my unhappier thoughts now...

This journal is really a bit shambolic as I wouldn't say it's me, I've just learnt not to say much now as it seems to make everyone's lives easier...

Nonetheless if it ain't broke...

Went to see physio today, have v.swollen rec fem. Been massaged and told to stay off it until at least Saturday, thus I've been getting to grips with the handbike to keep up with cardio

Ach, I'm not referring to the lack of grumbling in here, I'm talking about in person. You presence is much more positive and that can't be disguised. So whatever it is, it's nice

Get your thoughts out though if you need to air them , it does help and you know the frequent visitors to your journal will contribute to bucking you up.

Re:JOURNEY TO LEGS OF A GODDESS MARCH 2009 GOALS ON P.150 - 16 July 2009 21:36
Today I trained Chest and did 10mins handbike and a speedy ride home. Foam rolled my IT Band and Glutes and Piriformis, just as well as the pain has transferred much higher up next to my hip bone, am gonig back to see Physio next week for more work.

Felt ok training, til Marina Cornwall turned up looking stage ready as always and training in a bikini top... :-( Then felt v.fat

However, my weight has dropped since this time last week so the weekend of pizza and chocolate eating sure hasn't doen any harm

Trained Back today, trying to avoid exercises that put any strain on my upper thigh...

Did Pull up's, Seated row on stability ball, close grip pulldown, lower back ROM and Barbell Shrugs. Then 10 mins handbike and some SMR work on glutes, piriformis and IT Band

What's an incline Rope Row? Is that like a low pulley face pull with chest supported on a bench?

Thanks.

Am injury laden atm!

Rec fem still causing me issues and have started to get a left hand touch of tennis elbow

Thus have decided to take 2 weeks completely off to rest, and go from there.

Am sick of having fits and starts regarding training, gettting on it, then getting pains and having to take longer breaks...

Had PT exams today, think I passed the Premier one, but not sure on NASM... Will find out later this week

Been having a rest from weights... cardio doesn't hurt me anywhere... Only Stepper and Bike so I've not been using them...

It;s just boredom at work in between clients sometimes.

Was well chuffed on the run, I've never run 3k before! Aiming for 5k next...

Also thinking of changing sports... Triathlon is grabbing me, has been for a while now...

Mmm, I had thought about triathlon a while ago, but then realised I'm a real girl and didn't fancy the open water swim! I may check out sprint distance indoor events as part of my training on this journey tho.

changing sports..... wot give up BB?!!?
