Mmm, I had thought about triathlon a while ago, but then realised I'm a real girl and didn't fancy the open water swim! I may check out sprint distance indoor events as part of my training on this journey tho. changing sports..... wot give up BB?!!? xx

I know, I should've at the Centrals... :-( I've got another in mind too, Carl's preference but we shall see... Am still resting up (except some kicking pad work y.day) so will keep y'all posted... Hififi - I hate the dieting, I don't think I'm very good at it and I don't want to be like so many girls I see up there who could be "amazing, if only she nailed her conditioning"... I hear it so often, I don't want to be the 'nearly' girl, I either want to be the best or not compete at all... I still love bbing, I just think I love life more...

flick161 Hififi - I hate the dieting, I don't think I'm very good at it and I don't want to be like so many girls Is this what they call 'a moment of clairty'? Frighteningly honest if nothing else. Of course some people might say that following the cardio-tastic regime required for a triathlon might well result in exactly the sort of conditioning required for a BB show

Jeremy Jedi - I've always been honest about my poor dieting ability - it makes me horrendously hormonal :-( Did some kicking practice today, hip flexor is either just grinning and bearing it or actually getting better, tennis elbow is poopo so no punching involved... I also bought an elbow support today :-D

Mmm, I read your comment last night and wasn't sure what to reply! Thank you for being so frank. I think I prob feel the same, BUT also know that I feel like I need to get on stage at least just once, or else I'll aways be saying what if. I'm still learning about me and about BB and you've been very inspirational and motivational. xx

I think you should do it once Fi... Until you've gone through it all, don't even try saying it's hard... ;-) I will always train and eat as I do, and if I do choose to do s.thing else hopefully I'll still be able to do bbing one day, maybe, but not until I really really want to... ChrissieG no not til I decide no... :-)

I finally did some exercise! Went to a Martial Arts Submission class last night... 3 minute rounds nearly killed me - ace cardio - not too sure about the mat marks though from where Carl was taking advatnage of my weight and chucking me around like a ragdoll on the mat :-/ Weight still stable at well under 10 stone hurrah!

I love La Roux in for the kill!!! Last night I went to Muay Thai class, there was a lady from my gym there which was nice :-) Pounded the pads but have had to give up on Southpaw stance because my left 'tennis elbow' means that my power hand can't be my left one, so I';ve had to switch stances :-( Good class, and killer cardio!!!!

flick161 Most of which weren't v.comfy on my poor elbow :-( Voltarol gel? Which sounds like a posh schoolmarm telling female pupil to do unusual gym moves but is in fact a topical anti-inflammatory.

I have Voltarene gel at home, which is the same but I bought it in France :-D I think I probably need to actually see someone about my poorly elbow because not being able to do any upper body work, except when I'm dosed up on ibuprofen and paracetamol is a bit of a no-no really... :-(

Yeah, sounds like a trip to the doctor is on the cards. You never know they might do something more useful than just saying; "Take a complete break from training." I mean you know, just once. Have you not seen my Dragon Flags yet? I thought you might be interested in those what with the gymnastic type element.
