Nice push press progress mate. How's the 65kg feel? do you use a belt?.....really gave me confidence on overhead stuff.

thanks neb. Felt fine to be honest, will try for the 67.5kg this week. No don't use a belt and don't really intend to till the weights alot heavier. Plan is to keep the training hard and chuck in some more cardio hopefully lose a few kilos. Hows the training going? You had a break over christmas?

Had a few sessions but missed a lot due to ale. No more after today though.. Why the low squat anyway.....back issues?.....does that not effect your dead?...see you have a 150kg deadlift which isn't bad

Squat is low due to me having an ankle op where I had a pin put in and never really squatted that much after it as I was always worried something would go wrong. Have started doing them again with aims to do them 2-3 times a week. However in my last session my lower back went and I thought I was going to drop the weight. Don't know why it happened but still feels slightly sore so will probably see how it is tomorrow but will squat tuesday at the latest. Deadlift could do with improving would like to hit the 200 mark by may. What happened to your journal? You doing any weights still or is it mostly cardio now?

Back seemed fine this morning, then this evening had to wash the dog as she had been rolling in fox **** or something and it went again when I was bending down. No clue or reason why it's happened. Bench Press 50kg x 5 x 3 55kg x 5 x 2 60kg x 1 65kg x 1 70kg x 1 Weigh in- 79kg.

Decided to do a very quick strict press session couldnt have lasted more than 8 minutes. Strict press 30kg x 3 40kg x 1 45kg x 1 47.5kg x 1 PB 47.5kg x 1 47.5kg x F 40kg x 3 Pleased with that, back still playing up tried to dead 60kg and could feel lower back twinging.

Really been suffering with my back today. It "went" earlier and I felt like crying. Am going to go and try see a physio as soon as possible. Until it's feeling better no deadlift or squatting at all, can see push pressing being a problem too. Going to the gym tomorrow so will see how it is and what I can do.

havent updated it much this week. Found out i'd trapped my sciatic nerve so thats why the back and right leg was painful. Got some stretches to do for it. 13/01/2010 Strict Press 30kg x 5 40kg x 3 42.5kg x 3 Push Press 50kg x 3 60kg x 1 55kg x 3 55kg x 3 55kg x 3 Floor to Overhead DB (done for Both hands) 25kg x 3 30kg x 3 32.5kg x 1 35kg x 1 (left arm) 35kg x 2 (right arm) 37.5kg x 2 (right arm) 32.5kg x 3 Today Bench today nothing else bar x 5 50kg x 5 60kg x 5 70kg x 3 75kg x 1 77.5kg x 1 PB 80kg x F DB bench 25kg x 5 30kg x 5 Not a big session, was tempted to do deadlifts but thats just asking for trouble. Pressing session tomorrow, would like to be using the log.

Cleans 60kg x 5 Deadlift 60kg x 5 x 3 Cleans n Push Press 60kg x 5 Deadlift 60kg x 5 Cleans n Push Press 60kg x 3 65kg Clean n push press 65kg x 1, 2 push press 65kg clean PB deadlift 65kg x 5 x 3 Cleans n push press 60kg x 2 Deadlift 60kg x 5 Squat bar x 5 50kg x 5 70kg x 5 80kg x 5 One hand DB clean n push press 27.5kg x 5 32.5kg x 3 Finished with a some quick rowing Nothing major but a good session for my back, there was fit bird in the weights room aswell today which was nice, probably only around 18 doing squats.
