Mate don't beat ya self up about it. The amount of times I thought I had deadlifts nailed on form, and then either not keeping my back straight, or grip too wide/close... it took me a long time before getting totally used to it. Best things to remember when deadlifting IMO - Head up, back straight, push through the heels, and do them quick! We all have our bad sessions as well man, SO many things can affect it, the key is to keep battering away, which you're doing

Maybe I'm not explosive enough, I tend to apply the pressure gradually.

I find the best way to do deads, is to lift as quick as poss, and let the weight take it back down (so you're not lowering the weight back down), and explode straight back up again, and so on. Have a look at how Derek Poundstone does his (WSM competitor). There is a vid on you tube of him doing 9 or 10 reps with 340kg (I think).

Every exercise would be more difficult If you reset before starting the next rep.

With the resetting thing, i assume you're training for size? If so, then yeah touch and go is fine. For strength, resetting is better IMO.

Tell me about it, really feel it today. I do to parallel but I was thinking of going much lighter and then ass to grass, which do you think is more productive?

Haven't updated for a week, only trained once and my diet has been crap KFC's, mince pies and loads of other rubbish. I've lost some muscle but also some fat which I don't get. Back to it Monday!

Good session tonight, think I can get 60kg bench for a full set next week, DB incline is up as well. Couple of questions, 1. Is my incline press inline with my bench as I feel it should be higher. 2. Am I over training biceps?
