This made me laugh.. On the front page of Tim's website he's written about Jodie's 8 week transformation, perhaps implying that he only had 8 weeks to train her (i think that was implied in the tv show too??) Yet on the testimonails page on the webiste there's a message from Jodie thanking him for the last 12 months!!!!! Whoops

I'm sure Tim is a nice bloke and knows his stuff - clearly he does. However, the TV program did him no favours in some respects; sure he'll have more credibility, but it didn't protray him very well.

Tim has been training Jodie for at least 3 years. She was supposed to be competing in 2010 but not sure what happened there, maybe the TV thing didn't come to fruition in time for then. I know they rushed for 8 weeks as that was the time that the producers gave them. It did not say she was only training for 8 weeks on the program it said she would have to get stage ready in 8 weeks.

It made it "sound" like she only trained for 8 weeks. Lot of sensationalist gash in that programme.

Which is a shame as it would of been a much better programme without it. Didnt make it more interesting in anyway. Maybe to someone who hasnt got a clue whats involved.... perhaps.

I've now watched this programme. Interesting. They didn't show her ever eating any veg, nor doing any cardio both of which I thought took up quite a proportion of prepping for competition. I also did not understand that 17 meals in 30 hours thing, I understand he was worried she was losing muscle and so possibly over training, but to stuff her full of carbs. Hmmm. Then forcing her to eat fish, I'm aware of at least a couple of vegetarian bodybuilders who do very well without having to eat meat or fish, so I wondered if that was a set up for the cameras too? The incident regards the opinion from the other trainer did come across as harsh, however it was obvious he was telling her some truths - and she didn't have the muscle mass of other physique competitors however she has done very well.

I'm in some agreement with comments made above. Some aspects of the programme will have been for dramatic effect, no question. Drama is more entertaining after all. As well as certain facts being mentioned but "glossed over" so as not to detract from sensationalism, I'm of the opinion that certain facts will have been omitted completely. Sometimes you have to make assumptions based upon what you know of the sport. Of course, the assumptions could be wrong, but it's worth considering. I'm not saying this in anyway to dismiss Jodie's efforts since I personally think she looked pretty damn good as far as condition goes.

Watched it last night as there was nothing better on TV, wasn't expecting a David Attenborough type documentary and didn't get one. It was entertaining enough which I guess was its purpose. BBing probably isn;t the most interesting activity for a main stream programme so I guess the producers have their own agenda and way of making it more "interesting". A bit TOWIE but then its Essex/Brentwood, most BBers are vain or similar and I think it was OK. If they really wanted to show the true run up to competitions assisted or otherwise I guess it would have been even more controversial.
