Well I hope you all had a fab weekend! Busy one for me so sorry not been in but I'm back in now! I trained Back and bi's on friday here's what i did: All with 2-3 warm up sets....10sets per body part Leverage Lat Pulldown: 4 Sets: 30K X12reps, 40K X 8, 8, 8reps Seated Row: 4 sets: 41K x 12reps, 48K X 10,10reps Rope Face Pulls: 3 sets: 45K X 12reps, 50K x 10, 10reps Pec Dec Reverse flyes: 4 Sets: 27K x 12,10,10,10reps DB Reverse Flyes: 4 Sets: 10K x 12,12,11,10reps Nautilus Plate shrugs: 4 Sets: 40K X 12,12,11,11reps Plate Upright Rows: 4 Sets: 15K X 12,12,11,10reps EZ Bar Cable curls: 4 Sets: 32K X 12reps, 36K X 10,10,9reps DB Single Curls: 4 Sets: 10K's X 24,24,22,20reps Massive session really felt good but shattered afterwards!! Some changes for this week .. some slight ones on diet (well I think not lol!!) and on cardio. due to the amount i have to do in the morning I've been stressing a bit and shattered for 5.30am to 9am so as from today on Monday, wednesday and Thursday morning my cardio will be oputside with Daisy dog! I'll do a slow walk with Chester old dog then drop him off then power walk with Daisy the younger dog. I've got a brand new HR monitor and trialed this this morning. BLISS! although I was power walking I felt no stress to get back then go to the gym etc... It did start to rain but I really did not care! I gage how my Hr is doing but i might have to invest in a weighted vest - I'll chat to boss about it! Well another long post from me - I'm back to gym in a bit to train shoulders, chest and tri's working on 12 sets per body part so it's going to be a tough but good session! Really positive getting on with it... Oh I've paid deposit for new bikini!! ooooh exciting and no you won't know anything about it until its on show!! Have a great night all of you I'm doing something called resting for a few hours tomorrow - new word might have to look it up - so i'll post my workout and catch up on the journals - thanks for reading x

So you did invest in new bling! Aces! Glad new CV is working out for you. If my HR dips, I do the odd 1-min jogging; or I used to just wear ankle weights to do CV Glad you had a positive Monday

I did the resty thing today ;D Glad coach thinks dog walk/power walk is viable CV cos that's what I do most days so I'm glad it's all counting for something! I'd imagine with vest or ankle weights it will all add up pretty quickly. I've really grown to love my walks - I listen to BB podcasts/radio shows or audio books. Bliss! And of course dogs are brilliant training partners ;)

My weighted vest was my saviour, meant I could keep powerwalking rather than all stairmastery, tho stairmastery is the way forward! Give Chester s big smooch, loving his FB pics :-)xx

Well hello there! **WARNING LONG POST** I've been on FB quite a bit as it's been easier for me as can't quite see it properly from my phone and cannot post. I tell you more about my life on here so been absent as just plodding along in a bit of auto pilot really. Been busy put more importantly I've been very worried about my dog chester. He really had slipped down hill rapidly. He has a mass in his chest which suddenly made his breathing difficult so we almost had to make a decision that I dread. He was given a powerful "wonder" jab and perked up....then he had a ulcer in his eye which was dreadful so back to the vets for his 3rd eyelid to be stitched up so it could heel and to make him comfortable. Now stitches were due out this Monday but Friday his eye was very swollen and he wouldn't move from his bed so rushed him to vets were they have removed stitches as he now has an infection. More injections and more tablets... Now this morning jumping around like a bunny! Chester is a wonderful, cuddly, happy go lucky 13 and half year old staffie and the last month has been a blur to be honest. The vet and we have decided that as long as he's happy and not in any pain then we will take each day as it comes but today he is being very silly and his usual self so i am happier! Daisy the other dog has been great she knew there was something wrong and has been a real comfort but she also won't leave his side bless her. So all at the mo is good... Other news we've had some happy family news on Jimmy's side so everything seems to great and I've finished all my extra "head in books" and done my tax phew! So this is my journal and i should use it more and I will post on here exactly what I am feeling rather than the "stiff upper lip" and struggle through some of the tough times. It's just I don't want to seem like I'm moaning or someone is worse off than my little things. Right then, so here we go it's officially 12 weeks to show time! Training and diet has been spot on. I have had a moan to Paul as the weight has not been coming off but that has been explained and I sort of get it although my head says "loose more NOW!" My strength has increased and I look like i have a little more muscle. Went to see Paul yesterday and had a really good chat and we are happy with the prep and will continue to stick to the plan. I'm aiming to improve so as long as I look better than last year then I am happy. It's all about the day and who knows what everyone else is looking. We all work hard so all we can do is our best!! I'm delighted to say - NOT that my cardio increases from tomorrow (can you see my face?) Enjoying my refeed as I type this I can eat a bag of "natural" jelly snakes and type at the same time - result! Tomorrow my training is 8sets per body part and I await new diet/training plan from paul!! ...So gone are the demons I put a post on FB about some comments i heard about me and REFUSE to let silly people with their silly little opinions get me down...I am proud of my achievements I have a wonderful supportive husband, great friends - who my coach is one of and you guys - what more could a girl want? (oh yeah ice cream and chocolate!!) So here we go I am back, I am ready, I am going to do this!!! Thank you all for reading, posting and just being there you know what that makes me smile x x x

Yay hi Kels! :D x Glad to hear you are hitting prep 100% and seeing improvements. Poor old Chester pup, so sorry to hear about everything with him, but glad he is looking more chipper at the mo. Bless him! As for the other thing, well you know my opinion on that pathetic kind of behind-the-scenes stuff.... "other people's opinion of me is none of my business". IDIOTS! *hugs*

Me again! Had a totally fantastic, exhausting session last night. I'll post all that up in a min.... So new changes this week. diet tweeks and MORE CARDIO (grumble!) I am now doing 30mins X 2 daily on the stairs and X1 on Sunday. Training much the same but as usual more Grrrrrr! So yesterday I did 30mins cardio on the stairs before classes. Jimmy has changed his hours slightly so he can Daisy out for a walk so I can do cardio (belss him!). Went back late afternoon and trained shoulders, chest & Tri's and cardio. This week it's 8 sets per body part and with each exercise I did 1-2 warmup sets, so here it is: Seated DB Press: 3 Sets: 17.5K's 10reps, 15K's X 10, 9reps BB Standing Press: 2 sets: 30K 10.10reps Lateral Raises: 3 Sets: 7.5K's 12,12,12reps Incline DB Chest Press: 3 Sets: 20K's 12reps, 22.5K's 8,8reps..First time managed to get left dB up. really chuffed! Leverage Plate Loaded Chest Press: 3 Sets: 50K X 12reps, 60K X 10, 8reps. Well happy with this!! Pec Dec Fly: 2 Sets: 48K 10,10reps V Bar Pressdowns: 3 Sets: 45K X 10,10,9reps Rope Pullovers: 3 Sets: 36K X 12reps, 41K X 10,8reps DB Kickbacks: 2 Sets: 7.5K X 12,12reps. Cardio: 30mins on the stairs.......Exhausted at the end of this! But had a really good feeling. So sub 12weeks now. Had a wobble in my head and got a little senstive last week (blaming hormomes!!) But I am focused and ready and will continue to put the effort in....so lots of GRRRRRRRR!!! Been gym this morning did 30mins cardio. walked dogs - chester having a good day today thank goodness Food all cooked and I'm back to gym in a bit for more joyous cardio before work tonight... Have a good day all....
