Awh Lou, you're not alone. Feeling knackered a lot myself now. I'm at that stage where I wonder what the hell I'm doing it all for but then tomorrow, I could feel different

      I am exhausted.

You have a lot going on at the mo Lou.  Try to relax mentally, at least.

            Ah thank you all xxx

Tan - haha that's what my partner said!! LOL.

Not feeling too bad today though :) as the week goes on I normally feel more tired.. but i'm ok.

Had one hell of a good quad session last night. My legs are totalled this morning..!! 6 sets of squats, 4 sets of lunges, 4 sets hack squats and 4 sets of extensions. I opted for around 20 reps per set...

I'll be changing my work out split soon, and juggling things about a bit. I'll detail this more later on.

Better get on! thanks again for your support everyone. The final phase of prep is always the hardest I think!

When do you stop training quads, if at all, pre comp?

                  Hi Kitty

I will stop training my legs one week out from the show. I will have my final leg session to total failure on the Sunday.

My upper body is pretty much show ready now. Also my hams and glutes are ready.. Just now waiting for my quads to seperate a bit more. They don't require too much more, but having studied the women at European and World level there's marked difference in their quad seperation - so i'm just doing that now.

I am seeing Kimberley this week - so she will give me her verdict. This will be the first time i've seen her in about 4 months so i'm bricking it. Kim has seen a few preview pics, but it's nothing like seeing someone in the flesh to see their progress lol.

Hopefully i'm doing okay.. as I think i've documented i've found things quite difficult the last few weeks. Diet isn't a huge issue for me, but I have dropped my calories slightly and actually dropping about 30g of carbs per day has made a huge impact on my energy levels. I feel pretty rubbish lol.

Nice one. Sounds like it's been worth it so far, just a nice steady pace now . What will you do now to maintain? Less cardio/more carbs?

Ah thank you Rhi! I was so nervous yesterday. I don't think I quite realised how I was looking. Sometimes it's hard to see yourself! But thank gawd my hard work has paid off. It's been really tough the last few weeks and i've felt exhausted.

Hey Kitty - yeh I will make my cardio work outs slightly shorter now, and increase my carbs marginally. My partner and I keep a daily diary of how I am looking, and the exact amounts of what i'm eating. So we'll keep an eye on it to make sure I stay on track.

At least now the end is in sight.....!

Today I have my day off of weight training, and I went on a power walk this morning with my partner. Quite funny having him walk with me - he's about 17 and a half stone - and I kept moaning at him to move faster lol! My power walk was around 45 mins, and this evening i'll just do 20 minutes on my cross trainer and that'll be it for today. Gosh, it actually feels quite luxurious not having to weight train today. My legs are aching so much.

Hope everyone elses prep is going well xx

Yeah i'm okay - just exhausted a lot of the time at the moment.

Luckily i've been able to decrease my cardio until show day now.. so hopefully my energy levels will go up a little.

I've been suffering from major cramping, so i've raised my sodium and potassium levels. I'm also drinking soooooo much water!

Just really want to get this over with lol!

I have a post competition party to go to at the end of Oct - and I just can't wait. I'm going to celebrate getting into this condition, even if I don't do well at the show LOL. It's been the hardest show prep ever!

                                      Thanks Ricardo!

I'm hanging in there ok :)

I'm in the best condition of my life - so i'm pleased, but it has been the most exhausting contest prep!!!!

I trained chest and tri's tonight, and did just 20 mins of cross training. At least now my cardio sessions are shorter..

I'm drinking soo much crystal light... haha.

Gosh - under three weeks to go...... I just wanna DO THIS!!!!!

On the plus side - i'm getting tanning, hair and make up all done at the show - this is such a relief. I was stressing about doing all my own! haha.

Oh, you're another Crystal Light fan?  This should be sold in the UK.  When we went to Dallas, Daz and James L bought loads of it to take back!
