Low-carb cauliflower pizza dough 20 January 2012 22:45 (permalink)
Found this recipe gonna try it tomorrow night

1 cup cooked, riced cauliflower
1 egg
1 cup mozzarella cheese
Herbs of your choice

Mix altogether press into pan, bake 12-15 minutes then add toppings of your choice and grill till done.

        The pizza was 'interesting' . I found you have to be really careful moving it about as it tends to break easily but it hit the spot after not having any bread-type food for a few months.

        Gonna experiment next week and see if I can use it as a pastry .. Chicken, mushroom and quark pie.. Here I come!!

              Yeh indian stores sell dal flour.. Might work

              I was also thinking about trying TVP as a base for a pizza. That's really high in protein

                    Thanks that sounds awesome will try that this week.

                    Got me thinking(again), I don't see why the pizza dough recipe wouldn't work for pasta. Im gonna roll it into little balls and make gnocchi to go with some bolognese or rolled out to make lasagna sheets!
