M Shadows weight

im 17, almost 18, im 6'2 (188cm) and 160 pounds so yes im skinny but i want to change it. i can bicep curl 15kg (33 lbs) on each arm at the moment which is embarrassing and my biceps are only 13 inches

m shadows from avenged sevenfold is 6'1 but i dont know his weight but he's my ideal kinda build, he looks naturally big but also looks like he takes care of himself but isnt "too into it"

google him for other pics.. hes a pretty big built guy (to me, you might disagree) and id kill to have his build

what sort of weight do you think he is? 90-100kgs? how long would you guys expect a skinny guy like me to get to his sort of weight and shape? several years of hard gyming probably? what sort of weights do you reckon he bicep curls? i can do 15kg on each arm at the moment which is embarrassing and my biceps are only 13 inches  :(

what are your guesses? cheers, thanks for your help guys

Wouldnt say he was fat but he isn't particularly "big"

To the OP, that is a more than achievable look. I'm no expert on body weight guesstimations but im saying no more than 85kg. Could be wrong though

I wouldnt call that fat...kinda normal with abit of chest and arms..easily (welll...i say eaily all thing being realtive) to achieve this look...tho for your hight and weight you gonna have to get the food in..to get the weight on...and a good all body workout to start you off for a few months.

With smaller muscles like arms it is not about how much you curl, but rather HOW.   Proper form is everything.

Thats a bit like asking how longs a piece of string, aslong as you eat big and train hard you will gain muscle but 15kg is not going to happen overnight, not without putting a lot of fat on aswell! I would say ideally 2 pounds a week is a decent amount to put on per week if you want to stay lean.

As other have said you really need to concentrate on form.

Also, what else are you doing?
There is a tendency for young guys to concentrate on bicep/tricep and benchpress (or just bicep curls and nothing else).
    Rookie mistake.

You can do worse than doing a full body workout three times a week.

Don't ignore your legs- quad, hamstrings AND calves.
They might not be exciting to you right now but it looks hilarious when you see a guy with big arms and tiny everywhere else.
    Learn to squat.

I see guys going really heavy and then using bad form on a daily basis.
They never get any bigger and they often get injured.
    Don't be one of them.

    How is your diet?

You don't think a new trainer can gain 2 pounds a week with spot on diet?

    I've always thought it was 0.5 - 1lb a week.

I don't see anything wrong with the OP wanting to look like the guy in the pic, o,k he's nothing special, he just looks like an average gym user- but for someone who is naturally skinny and finds it difficult to build muscle its a good atainable goal to start with, if and when he reaches something similar to his desired build he'l probably set the bar a little bit higher

M Shadows looks ok, he's tall with a decent frame, clearly does the odd bit of weight training and isn't fat.

Wouldn't be too difficult to put on the muscle he has, but you are not going to look like him unless you have his skeleton, great looks and plethora of tats lol.

OP:- Benchpress + Pull Ups + a total disregard for any exercise involving legs + diet of junk food should see you there.
