MAXIRAW - WPC Precision

Thanks to Gwilym from Maxiraw for the samples. Maxiraw protein is something ive been wanting to try for ages just never got round to it, The first time buy deal is very good spend over £50 get a free shaker,T shirt and scoops. Its a nice Black T shirt seen a couple of guys in the gym in it. Maximuscle is always seen a the average gym users protein and I assume MAXIRAW is stripped down and is aimed more at the serious gym user. Anyway back to the protein and what is it like. WPC Precision. Stats from the website Per 30g serving Energy 121Kcal / 511kj Protein 23.7g Carbohydrate 1.8g Of which sugars 1.8g Fat 2.1g Of which saturates 1.2 Fibre trace Sodium 60mg Its a good protein very low in carbs and a very good ratio of Protein . Mixing 10/10 This stuff mixes instant I only like protein in water and tahts how it is no thickners I personally like this as I have my protein then do cardio so there absolutly no stomach issues its like drinking water. Choc Orange - Taste 7/10 this wasnt my fav flavour out of the ones I tried its a bitter chocolate with a hint of orange and a lovely after taste in fact they all had a nice sweet aftertaste but remember this isnt Mc D milkshake this is stripped down protein without thickners but its a bitter dark chocolate the kind that goes well with orange would taste better in Milk IMO. . Chocolate - Taste 9/10 this should be called Malt Chocolate as its like someone has added a scoop of Horlicks to it a lovely protein to taste again its thin with water but a nice aftertaste as well. I also have 2 Protein Complex to try but in the 2 samples so far id definetly recommend MAXIRAW.

The chocolate is good stuff, have run 10kg of the stuff before, and i admit did get boring towards the end but what ammount of protein in the kgs doesnt! The strawberry i didnt enjoy at all though, will have to try one of the new flavours oneday, or pick up some samples.

Its a good point about the 10kgs they should do the same deals with a option of flavours. Ive just had the raspberry ripple protein complex and thats a lovely raspberry flavour with a nice aftertaste

Hi mate, only just seen this. Thanks for the review, glad you like them With regards to the choc orange, its funny you mention mixing it with milk. I did that the first few times I tried it and its gorgeous. Almost tastes like a cheat milkshake with semi skimmed. I actually have it with a scoop of Carb Impact in water for my PWO shake and the carbs seem to make it a bit smoother again, although too sweet for some. I'll pass on the idea of a mix and match 10kg deal. Sounds good to me!

Yeah I think milk would be better with the Choc orange as its a bitter chocolate as choc orange should be and I can imagine it would be yum. The Raspberry Ripple is very nice a lovely raspberry aftertaste as well

Just thought i'd note that the t-shirt isn't a proper brand one as you would think, it's one of those cheap fruit of the loom t-shirts not what I expected.
