I have searched and found out some good info re Admin and Mods. But, I have a few questions of my own.

1. How do the Mods get to become a Mod?

2. Does the site owner decide?

3. Can a Mod give an answer/opion without the site owners consent?

4. Do different Mods have different Privileges?

5. Can a Mod delete another Mods comment?

6. And, do Mods come from another planet?...lol Only joking Ladies and Gents

7. How did James get to be so good looking?

I too would like to know this

1.) Variety of ways, usually involving time and experience on the site contributing in a positive way.

2.) Yes, but sadly he can't be bought. Money, sexual favours. None of them work. It is written in legend that if you come up with an original joke and give it to him you may become a golden mod but no proof exists.

3.) Yes. Can you imagine what it would be like if Mods had to runs every comment they make by one person?

4.) Yes, control over different forums, access to the VIP area, lots of differences

5.) Lol yes this happens and can be pretty funny.

6.) Not unless you count the twice yearly mods holiday, but they don't really come from there, just visit.

Usually some form of payment and bribery is involved. Foregoing that, it will probably be some kind of sexual favour.

2. Does the site owner decide?

No, the whole mod team reap the benefit of a newcomer.

3. Can a Mod give an answer/opion without the site owners consent?

Umm, yeah - I'm doing it now!

4. Do different Mods have different Privileges?

Absolutely. Hazel for example is allowed to brew tea for James. He'd never allow it from anyone else.

5. Can a Mod delete/EDIT another Mods comment?

NO, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE - BUT I LOVE SMOTHERING MY NETHER REGIONS IN PEANUT BUTTER AND GETTING FRISKY DOGS TO LICK IT OFF.

6. And, do Mods come from another planet?...lol Only joking Ladies and Gents

You joke.... In the past certain mods have been described as loads of things. It was speculated at one time that I was simply an automated machine.

lol. but you have to look at the positive. as a result when you are on stage posing, and doing the lat spread, you could then compliment this pose with a larger then life a$$ spread too........ just saying...........

Bit of both. We bring a list of the names of identified members to the Monday morning MT team meeting that James chairs as it's one of the agenda items.

We discuss the pros and cons of each member, discuss the reason they've been identified (behaving like a muppet, trolling, asking the secret question, mod has received a backhander to get rid of them), we'll put it to the vote, and whenever people disagree with James we talk about it for 20 minutes and then we decide James was right.
