The prices online are very good in some cases.
As an industry this is one where the customer is given a lot - free shipping is a great thing.

John Cappa is correct prices have risen last year and the scheduled easing of prices in Q4 never really materialised and now we have the same seeds of supply tightening and this means gentle price rises.

This primarily affects WPC80 your isolates are looking like a better value as their price is more stable.

If we were trading whey futures my advice go long!

An Alterego is a paradoxical escape.

You can get CFM WPI (Unflavoured) for £10 a kg (if you get 16kgs - 4 x 4kgs). I used their FLEX3 discount code and get £20 off that price! ie £8 a kg. And that was delivered dpd free. Hard to beat that!!

Yep did the same form your post :) . I used slow delivery, and I think 3 quid delivery saving is calculated before that screen so saved a extra 3 quid (had to deal with yodel !).
MP have codes/offers/price match and also a-lot of time something is always "on sale" just wait about
or use Bulk powders / bulk supplements direct. Both very good alternatives .

The protein content of that Mutant Whey seems pretty poor...22g per 36g serving is only 61% protein.

Lol, MP have actually reduced their wpi prices a few months ago. Used to be £220 for 20kgs. Now £200.

              Re:MP or branded 20 January 2012 19:17 (permalink)
Firstly, -if delivery costs are being factored into prices for comparison purposes then MP does free delivery with yodel for any order over £50, and most flavoured bulk powders at MP are over £50. Otherwise the cheapest delivery option is generally yodel super saver at £2.50, but for orders where the price is just under £50 you may as well spend a quid on a sample, or a scoop, that will bump it up over the £50 mark rather than paying the £2.50 delivery.

Secondly, its worth noting myprotein do bulk powders and premium powders to compete with other bulk suppliers such as maxiraw, ironscience, bbwarehouse etc, and the mpmax range which will compete with the likes of Reflex, CNP, USN etc.

So the cost for 5kg/10lbs of myprotein powders would be as follows.

              Bulk Powders
Impact Whey Isolate 5KG: £64.99 Flavoured (can get it for about £60 flavoured using the pricematcher with www.ironscience.co.uk)

Impact Whey Protein 5KG: £39.99 Unflavoured, £53.49 Flavoured (can get flavoured for about £50 using the pricematcher with www.ironscience.co.uk)

              Total Protein 5KG: £48.99 Unflavoured, £52.99 Flavoured

              Premium Powders
              True Whey 2 x 2.27kg tubs = £64.98

              Total Peptide 2 x 2.27kg tubs = £65.98

Im intrigued by Matrix Anabolic Whey Protein but am reluctant to buy as ive not read any honest reviews of it yet, just the marketing bull****. Been on their website & there is some conflicting information & mis-spelling so am in 2 minds whether to give it a try....£39 for 5kg with an 80% protein content seems like a very good price.

Well if you go over 75 quid there is no P&P.

Unless you live in certain Uk postcodes in which case certain suppliers apply a surcharge.

Good advice. MP is a very reputable company that those that know the industry well trust. Their prices are still better than the so called 'branded' suppliers. Off course as Mobster pointed out every company is a brand. MP can simply be classed as a bulk online retailer.

OP your also comparing 10lb to 5kg, 5kg is 11lb so your getting a 1lb more.

also as mentioned above, delivery is free over £50

I dont think you are getting it.

You just put the nutrition info for mutant mass up twice. That wasnt mentioned in this thread. Why are you posting that?

MUTANT WHEY was mentioned, NOT mutant mass..

                                Bit of advertising?

Im intrigued by Matrix Anabolic Whey Protein but am reluctant to buy as ive not read any honest reviews of it yet, just the marketing bull****. Been on their website & there is some conflicting information & mis-spelling so am in 2 minds whether to give it a try....£39 for 5kg with an 80% protein content seems like a very good price.

i did like matrix weight gainier, its the best ive ever tasted bannoffee flavour, but then was told there grams etc didnt add up right so dropped them for mammoth2500 which is very sweet and not as nice lol but its watery so goes down quick, matrix was very thick and filling.

edit, saying that you always here people talking about brands as if there here to con and rob us all out of are money etc, surly there not that bad!
