at our gym we started doing a 60kg bb bpress challenge some time b4 i was aware of the 100kg challenge going on on here, i was in 2nd place with 55reps and the guy in first place had 63reps but last night im proud to say i beat his total to take the top spot with 66reps, when i was on about the 40th rep i stopped for a second and said to my training partner im not gonna do it today the thought of another 24 reps just sempt too much, but then i took a few deep breaths and thought to myself all i had to do was 1 rep at a time then when id done that rep just do another and then another and so on, the reps didnt get any harder untill i got to the 60ish mark but by that time i was flying and determined to beat the record no matter wot, im sure doing the 100kg challenge on here for a few weeks helped me to get top spot at my gym on the 60kg challenge, cheers boys ;)

mooseman28 got 18 as my PB thus far! should we have weight classes?? I've put bodyweight in as a column, but I don't have figures for most guys. Ideally bodyweight should be on it, otherwise the guys who weigh 70 kg will feel rather weak without realising that they're competing against guys who weigh 140 kg! Up to Hazel though, if she wants to insist on it then it'll get done, nothing that I can do on this really. The list is now up to date on page 11 Edit (as it's the last post anyway) I got to 22 today. Used a slightly wider grip, a good nights sleep and plenty of grub!

If you want bodyweight added I will do that, start adding bodyweight to new totals given and | will include them on the table.

Just caught up with this. Been off MT for a while. Might give it a go on Sat if I remember my camera. Got a 192.5 last Sunday, so should be good for at least a dozen, I reckon. Do you get bonus points for being old and light?

Well wasn't going to try this as benching for me is fairly poor now due to bad shoulders and elbows, but fresh I got 21 not too bad I suppose, but could have done this when I was 16-17 lol. Will see if I can get to 30 over the next few months. Popped out to the garage today and had another little go 24 felt light but trained triceps yesterday and they just gave up the ghost.

Really interested in this managed 43 In a close grip style at 130Kg Not sure whether this counts? Scratch that - the concensus of opinion is that the reps -29-32 didnt count, glad they told me at the time so 39 overall.
