I haven't tried this on the flat bench for over 9 months but here's the first and last time I tried at the end of my chest workout, 32 reps by myself...  I should do a new one, I'm much stronger now!

Here's a bench vid I made a few days ago, did 28 reps by myself with 220lbs at the end of my chest workout on the incline!

Looking strong but I wouldn't count any of those reps as none touched your chest and none were locked out - 32 partial reps but still a good effort.

And on a different note, I only managed 22 which is a massive 7 less than my mate littlelee!  Well I have only had 4 sessions in the past 12 months......

You mean I should touch my chest and do like 95% of the people do, get a big bounce of my chest and cheat?  Put a video on and show us how it's done since you're such a smartass!

Nice to see that you're posting videos and that you're not just another keyboard bench presser like so many people on forums!  Now post that 220 video already!

I'll get round to it dude, I own a gym so trying to get time to set up the camera etc is not easy and this doesn't really fit into my routine but give me a week or two and I will have another go.

I just do those from time to time as the last set of my chest workout to get a great pump.  I could do alot more reps doing it coming in the gym when I'm fresh, but it's no big deal, more of a bragging rights test to me than anything!

15 for me but its much harder then you think ant it, got to ten and my nose started hurting, i know what your thinking and the answer is no i did not use my nose to cheat lol well it is a very big nose, my weight is 89kg so iam chuffed with that.
can you have a break or breather at top or is that cheating my last 2 reps were with a 5 second pause.

First attempt at it tonight, got a messy thirty - going to try again in the next couple weeks and get a clean video of it to confirm, maybe hit a higher number too with a bit better prep.

I remember when I thought getting a 220lb BP was the elsuive Holy Grail!
I first benched 220lbs when I was 24 years old and had been dedicated to training for about 12 months. At that time I weighed just over 10 stone (about 145lbs). The most reps I ever got with 220lbs was 5 IIRC. I stopped trying to get PBs shortly after I made 220lbs because of niggling injuries and also because I started training alone at home and had no spot. My PB was 250lbs for 1 clean rep at the same bodyweight (145lbs). Now, 6 years later, I sometimes wonder what I could press now with a bodyweight of 180lbs! LOL

I always finish my flat bench with a rep out 100kg set. I'm back training 8 Months after a 5 year lay off my pb was 30 reps with 100kg but that was after my heavy benching. I got 20 reps last week to finish my chest workout. Don't know what i'd get feeling fresh!!
I am around 92kg bodyweight.

Strong Lifts all around!

I don't see that being fresh will add much - in some cases if you've lifted heavier during the workout the light weight burnout can go well as muscles are fired up for heavier weights and you end up smoking the first twenty-forty (weight depending) then it slows and then the wall is hit hard!
An Alterego is a paradoxical escape.
