I'm at the back end of bulk so there's not going to many changes for me so no point.
When does the summer shape up challenge normally run?  I might aim my cut around that this year???

We are hoping to do 2 shape-ups each year, every January and just finalisisng the run of the second one.  If we get good interest each time, it will be worth doing two.

If I can work out how to take a decent photo in a house lit by low energy lightbulbs I'll give it a go.

I understand your point in that some members may think that people who are assisted may have a better end result.  Trying to keep the emphasis on the best progress, rather than just who has the best physique.

Monitoring who is assisted and the parameters of with what, is a minefield.  Do prohormones and fat burners count the same as other drugs, for example? There are more sub-categories I could list, also I'm happy to take everybody's word for it but some may not. Would then male and female members be in different groups?(although currently there is only Welshy)  So having two groups unassisted and assisted would still be unfair.

Maybe consider having a vote for the best progress and overall best physique?  Still want to keep this as a fun thing and not too serious

surely someone who,s assisted will make better progress than someone natural

Depends on how long they've been training for.

I'm aiming to add a lean stone au naturelle

Not necessarily, lots of other factors to consider, training intensity, diet, the level of condition they start with.

I guess in theory we should make allowances for the fact they are on gear when making our personal judgements- obviously some people won't look at it like that and vote purely on the 2 sets of photos, some people will vote for their mates and in some cases this might actually work against the competitor in that the person judging might think they should have done better.  In all it will probably all average out and everyone should have an equal chance.  IMO anyway.

This is why the voting is done by the members, they will read in the thread if they are assisted or unassisted and it will be up to the individual if that is a factor that will influence their vote or not.  It is just for fun , and some nice prizes

Allthough my goal is not foucsed on BBing side, I do need to add Functional Strength and some Lean mass(MMA Trainning)

Would like to as it sounds fun!

think i might also give it a whirl if i may.

plan to start a lean bulk in the new year and havent for well over 18 months bulked properly, so will hopefuly be good.

also have an MT t-shirt IOU'd i think from coming runner up in the last shape up, so it'll give me a chance to reclaim that!

Apologies if you have designed on winning though, as I've already made my mind up to win so unlucky.
