Given I'm about 86 kg now, that didn't seem to cause too much trouble I just need to re-do my PBs now (once I'm back in good health)

i hit 227.5/150/240 first time equipped at 78kilo bodyweight 19 y/o.

Please could you update it? Definetly going to thrash these numbers at the brits! i hope anyway! lol

I did the BPC welsh with all the leeds guys i train with. Never done a bwla comp, was thinking about entering one but BPC appears to be going places regarding sponsors/tv coverage/competition in my class etc at moment so think i will be sticking with them.

Squatted in loose single ply suit and briefs last comp, gonna get some tighter double ply suits for brits tho and see how i get on with it..

What fed/class you lift in bud?

BWLA/BDFPA unequipped @90kg. About as far removed from BPC as you can get lol! Still I will be down to watch the finals in Bournmouth later in this summer!

I benched 275 and pulled 270 at the Welsh champs yesterday Boar. That takes mine to:

Squat: 340
Bench: 275
Deadlift: 270
Total: 885

I almost benched 285 at the comp on Sunday, just missed it at lockout and I was going to do a 350 squat but the squat stands were very wobbly at 330 and I didn't feel safe on them to be honest!

I'm hoping to break the 900 barrier at the British, what better place to do it eh?

I used to be embarrassed but now that I am closing in on the 300kgs in the bench, I don't feel so bad LOL. My squat is coming on well too so they both balance out my **** deadlift - for now!

Now get back to your mince and sweet potatoes!

Didn't quailify this year, despite it being the plan! I have yet to do my 1st equipped meet, but hopefully that will change when I do both the English Champs and my divisonals equipped later on in the year.

It took me 3 years to qualify for it too mate. I thought I'd qualified last year as I'd finally passed the 800 total qualifier but then it got raised to 850! I've done 875 twice now this year without too much effort so at least I've qualified now. It's a bit of a pain but I think this is what seperates BWLA from the other feds in that you have to achieve a relatively high standard before you can lift at the British, not to mention the Euros and Worlds.

I didn't qualify by virtue of not having done an equipped comp yet. I have pulled out of two equipped comps this session for various reasons which is shame but there you go. The qualifying total for BWLA @ 90kg is 690, which should not be too troublesome for me barring mishap! (I am touching wood hard now as to not to jinx myself !)

I am lifting unequipped at WDFPA European champs in june so its not all bad nxt month!
