Maintenance Calories?

Hi, I am looking to lose weight and am trying to find a good calorie counter formula or online site. It for both me and my gf. We are trying to calculate our maintenance calories so that we can then reduce them. All the ones i have found so far give wildly differing results... your help is appreciated...

Try not to get too hung up with the 'numbers' game. It is a good thing to get an idea, but just use it as a guide rather than it being something you have to be exact with. Use the mirror, scales and tape measure as a simple and accurate judge of fat loss. When progress is'nt there you simply reduce intake and/or increase output. This link will help you with your question though.... http://articles.muscletalk.co.uk/article-predictive-equations-bmr.aspx
