Bovril is a beef extract whereas marmite is a yeast extract, so even though the are similar product they do taste different. I prefer bovril but do love abit of marmite. Sorry if im missing something but what is the ommlette you are going to make? i take it that its some delicious marmite version? fill me in!?

"Marmite xo " is very nice. It's been aged longer and is more strong than normal marmite ( and more expensive) I like marmite mixed with quark.. Reminds me of school when they used to 'cut' the marmite with margarine to make it more appealing to kids
