Mass Attack! - it's truly delicious! 01 March 2010 11:50 (permalink)
Hey guys,

I just had my first serving of Mass Attack after a killer session of FST 7 arms.

And all I can say is that Mass Attack's taste truly lives up to the hype that all the MT users talk about! It is slightly sweet for my shake taste (benchmarked with Reflex Instant Mass) If anyone could come up with a product with the sweetness in between those two, I'd totally be in love, haha.

I know this is my first serving but I am definitely quite hopeful that this gainer can help me finally gain some weight!

I was wondering how good Mass Attack has treated you guys? How fast were your gains. I only have one 4kg tub which will only last me about 1 1/2 months based on my training regime and 100g serving size.

Cheers ya'll

Justin

How fast were what gains? lol

What will determine muscle gains is a whole host of things including nutrition supplementation, training regimen, sleep rest etc...

    Not one particular product.

But mass attack is great I must say and I use it everyday whether training or not.

yep, as above. I like the chochlate taste and the banana. I tried the toffee one, but i didn't like it.

will try the other flavours soon.

      BMA is quality.

It took me a while to find the right weight gainer but Mass Attack tastes fantastic with hardly any bloating at all.

Just something as a side note. Does Mass Attack have enough Whey Protein or would you suggest i take additionally? Also is there anything that it is lacking that i should be taking to get the best effect?

Yea, that's what I thought initially as well. It only has 30g of protein per serving, and within that 30g is like milk protein and stuff.

In my opinion, it might not be enough. As compared to other gainers I have tried, they have had about 20g more protein.

What I do is I add a Preworkout whey shake. I use 16g of Nutrisport 90+ Protein Chocolate. That would be give me about 13g of whey +micellar caesin. Just started doing this this week so it's too early for me to tell you whether it has been useful. I wouldn't dare drink the nutrisport with my mass attack. It would destroy the deliciousness of Mass Attack Choc :P

If you add 400ml semi skimmed milk it will take the protein content up to about 42g protein and around 75g carbs, just add some olive oil in it and its not missing anything.

Are there any high protein supplements with small servings that i can just add to the shake as i really can not take milk?

All about the blends and thats what mass attack has.

Great pwo for me, as it has whey, casein, dextrose, ultra fine oats.

You have fast and slow released nutrients which is perfect I think.

There have been studies that casein etc has its place pwo,but if I want to up the protein content for pwo then I'll just have 2 and a half scoops which would probably give then just over 35g of protein and 70 odd g of carbs.

But you want to be looking at your protein intake throughout your diet and not just looking at one particular supplement.

30g of protein in a serving is certainly adequate for most.
If you love something let it go,if it comes back to you it's yours,if it doesn't it never was.

You could add more bulk protein of the same flavour in.
