Maximuscle Cyclone Bars 01 February 2012 17:40 (permalink)
Just ordered 2 boxes of these from maxiraw, only £15 a box for 12 bars reduced from £30, they contain 23g of protein as well as 5g of creatine and some other stuff to aid recovery seems great to me as I was planning on buying protein bars anyway so the other things are a bonus. Wondering if anybody else has tried them and what you think of them in regards to taste etc ?

they are alright taste wise, the chocolate orange isn't really my thing.

they dry your mouth out like crazy though, due to the creatine, so make sure you eat it with a bottle of water to hand

yes someone spotted it on the website early last year i think , everyone on the MT forums was buying them .

It wasnt even a mistake the reps were comming on saying buy them up.  I cant remember why they was so cheap.

                good deal.

i stocked up on their finesse omega 3 softgels before xmas because they were dated dec 11. they are normally £10 a box (a week's worth at their recommended dosage of 4 a day) but they were doing 5 boxes (140 softgels) for £5 inc. delivery. i ordered 25 boxes total and all but 3 of them turned up with an april 2012 date on them.

i only take 2 a day, so they're lasting twice as long aswell.

i was delighted to see them reduced down again (on the current offer) but they're £20 for 5 boxes now, so i'll give them a miss as they're still more expensive as mp's Omega 3

I recieved my order today, i'll write a review on the Citrumax after i've tried it for a while since I cant seem to find many decent reviews on it probably as it's so expensive at full price.

Sorry about that James, anyway the cyclone bars don't taste so good.. i wont be ordering any more put it that way, the chocolate has started to degrade and turn a whitish colour and they taste quite grainy. I'll still suffer through them though
