I had a nice roast yestadary. Side of lamb, roast tats in goose fat, parnsips, onions, garlic. Good stuff. Dose this kinda thing help AK? Anyway if it's not been asked already what are your plans/goals over the next few years weight training wise. Do you have a body weight in mind, anything competitive etc etc?

Every little helps Iain, as long as it was a good meal. Well next year i've earmarked a 3/4/5 plate B/S/D if my back continues to play ball with me. Beyond that i've not really thought too much about a bodyweight i'd be happy at, particularly competing. Currently i feel a little sweaty at 15 stone 7, but nothing terribly uncomfortable. I reckon anything around 14-15 i'd be happy to maintain with good condition. Competition wise i'll never rule out PL'ing as i do love strength-orientate goals, but for now a crap back and feeling small keeps that particular goal for a rainy day

You shouldn't put off competing until you feel you'll set the world alight with your lifts. I've had the worst 12 months training since I began - a combination of back injuries and motivation issues have seen me regress. But I still did my first full competition a few months ago, albeit with a total I'm sure I could have easily bettered even 2 years ago, and it's reignited my enthusiasm somewhat. Join the GBPF, find out where your nearest comp is and lift. You really won't regret it. And 15 and a half stone? You fat c*nt.

PS I agree about the fat c8nt bit. What is your bodyfat approx AGay? In fairness i've never truly given PL serious thought because of my ongoing back troubles. If i can see out 2010 without any issues then i may start to think about it but my technique for squats and particularly benching will need sorting. Cnuttifflad i'm probably into the 20's now, but as long as i'm getting stronger and heavier i'm not so fussed about the condition, i can sort that at a later date. Besdies winter's coming and it'll save me buying a coat

Cardifflad I think that is the first post of yours I have read and taken something constructive out of.......... That is less of a reflection on my posts and more of a reflection that in the past couple of years you have either been pissed, going through a divcorce or paranoid about your new missus getting nailed by other blokes.

CL, sometimes the facts speak for themselves. We are both lucky that AK_88 makes the burden of proof of twatishness very light for us. May the lord have mercy on his soul.
