Did you have any worries before moving to Canada or was it an easy decision to make? What other interests do you have outside of training?

shane278 Did you have any worries before moving to Canada or was it an easy decision to make? It was a fairly easy decision to make, an ideal job opportunity in which they offered to arrange everything, chance to explore a new continent. My only reservation was missing my friends and family, but I have made a really effort to stay in touch, which they have reciprocated. Happy I made the move and know I can move back when I am ready. What other interests do you have outside of training? Work and training consumes 90% of my time, but that I aside I am interest in my finance and investments, reading (quite into philosophy, history at the moment), cinema/film. I go out and socialise now and again.

Hi Davey. Thanks for being the subject of this interview. Your avatar picture looks interesting. Can you let us know what weight you're lifting in the pic and over what distance?

Hi Dave, 1. What does a typical days eating for you look like? 2. I'm guessing you are an analyst, but do you trade as well, and if so what? 3. What would you rather have, the genetics of mariusz pudzianowski or a chance to work for george soros for a few years 4. If you were the invisible man for a day, what would you get up to?

James Hi Davey. Thanks for being the subject of this interview. Your avatar picture looks interesting. Can you let us know what weight you're lifting in the pic and over what distance? Hi James, my pleasure doing the interview. That was me training for u90kg englands strongest man qualifier. There was farmers deadlift event for max weight, just the pickup. That is me battling to picture up 150kg in each hand, no straps. I will post a few of my strongman pictures tonight if anyone is interesting. My farmers walk pb is 120kg over 20m. I think I tried the 130kg but got only 10m or so.

jules.j Hi Dave, 1. What does a typical days eating for you look like? Breakfast - 500ml egg whites, 4 slices of ancient grains toast, 50g oats or wheetabix Mid-Morning - MRP or Chicken Breast/Pasta or Rice Lunch - Chicken/Rice or Noodles/Cooked Veg Mid Avo - Same as Mid-Morning Pre-Workout - 50g Protein, some rices cakes or cereal bar. Caffeine drink, maybe some EPH. Post-Workout - 40g Protein, 100g glucose/wms, creatine Post-Post Workout - Chicken/Beef/Fish and Rice with Cooked Veg or Salad Bedtime - 250g cottage cheese or yoghurt. Or 40g whey in skimmed milk. I snack on nuts/seeds through the day, like a bird. I drink alot of milk everyday, love the stuff, go though 4-6 pints a day. 2. I'm guessing you are an analyst, but do you trade as well, and if so what? Yup I'm an analyst. I don't trade on behalf of my company (yet, currently doing my CFA) but I do some of my own trading, just equities at the moment. 3. What would you rather have, the genetics of mariusz pudzianowski or a chance to work for george soros for a few years Haha tough question, probably Mariusz genetics . I know I would learn heaps from georgy boy but I am enjoying my climb up the ladder! 4. If you were the invisible man for a day, what would you get up to? Sneak into cool places like Pentagon, White House, etc. And watch a few girls get changed. Please don't think any less of me for that last one, all men would do that. I'd do that one last as I think it would take up the whole day otherwise.

Ras They haven't been hit anywhere near as hard as London or New York, as they didn't really buy into the the whole morgage-back securities. It is pretty good shape considering and I think they are actively recruiting, but not to the extent London and NYC are at the moment, they have gone boom in the last month.

Alright mate, I competed against you at the Olympic Dragon comp. I was really impressed with your physique at the comp so it's good to hear you dont do isolation work and it is your strongman training that has built your body. Which strongman event do you like best and which do you like least ? What sort of car are you going to be driving over there ?
No biggie like, there are a lot worse things for you than using steroids, I mean I probably shouldn't have been smoking crack or getting into bar fights at your age TBH - drab4

I saw your vids from Olympic Dragon, great performance buddy. Favourite strongman events, I love stones and log press. Least favourite, super yoke. Convertible Mustang GT :-)
