What is your idea of a perfect holiday?  Sun, sea, sand and THAT??! heh heh .... or skiing ....or sightseeing around Pyramids etc and more cultural things?

I prefer the sun and the beach option myself

Where was your last holiday and have you got your next one planned?

I don't imagine it will be any great surprise to hear that anything that involves excessive partying will suit me down to the ground. It either has to be the beach/ sun/ partying and 'doing my bit for international relations' option, or a city break, where I can party like mad and 'do my bit for international relations'. I always have a slappers beach holiday at the beginning of March, when I am desperate for some sun, and then a few European city breaks throughout the year- usually conciding with big events, like Pride or one of the big parties. I actually had a bit more sedate holiday a few weeks ago- afer a Pride event, we drove to France and visited two lots of friends I'd met whilst doing the party circuit. We mooched around and visited pretty little places for a week. As much as I'd love to see the pyramids, I risk getting locked up in Egypt, which I don't really fancy, and they dont have the nightlife I'd want, and as for skiing, no thanks. Everyone I know who goes skiing ends up with horrific fractures. I'll stick to clubbing thank you very much!

Next planned holiday? Beach in March, as usual. I'd quite like to go back to California, but I'll have to wait for Obama to change the visa and entry restrictions on people with HIV entering the US

When you joined MT were you worried that people would judge you by your sexuality? Its something I'm always prepared for. It happens, and I didn't think MT would be any different.  I'm not so much worried about people judging me personally (if I was I'd probably keep my trap shut about a lot of things I admit to), although I did wonder just how open minded people would be.

What sort of music do you listen to? House. Exclusively. I break out in hives if I listen to any other kind of music for more than 20 minutes. Electro, tribal, progressive,  tech, and vocal and trance in particular.

Is the gym now ingrained as part of your lifestyle for good? It seems to be. I don't have to think about going and psych myself up these days, I just go. I couldn't go yesterday and I was most miffed. Its just such a part of my routine now and I hate it when work commitments and other stuff gets in the way. If I'v ehad to have time off because of injury or illness I've missed it so much and been really glad to get back again.

Thanks Mark, I sort of suspected you'd be a bit of a party goer on the beach and good for you.  Keep up the good work

Do you have friends with whom you travel that suffer from HIV? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on who wants to go!
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be? I've got a few European cities still left on my list, and I quite fancy India at some point. Generally speaking though, I've been pretty much everywhere I really wanted to go to.
Whats your favourite bodypart to train? Probably chest. Not because I particularly enjoy the workout, but purely because of the pump and how I look after the workout.

Any pics of your tattoos mate. I'll see if I've got one and try and upload it. That one on your chest looks pretty cool though.
I used to get strange looks when back at house parties and drinking protein shakes. Nobody even bats an eyelid when I do it. There's often more than one person doing the same, and if not, someone invariably thinks its a good idea and starts making one too....perhaps its just the circles I move in. Also, when going on to a party after a club, people will often say 'yes, Mark, we've got tea bags and milk'. First thing I do when I get in is make a cup of tea. Can't beat it!

                          hi mark.

what brought you to muscle talk in the first place? did you stumble across it, or were you told about it?

how long have you been using anabolic steroids, did you use them before you were diagnosed? and (this may be a little personal, sorry if it is) do you get some on prescription to prevent muscle wasting, or is that not a factor?

and finally...say you were really trying to impress someone, who has no special dietary requirements, what would you cook them for dinner?
calm down, its life, mate, its only a game

What are the most important things in your life in order of most important 1st.
People and relationships come number one. There's an awful lot that isn't important to me- like status, or things like what kind of car you drive. I'm not in the least bit interested by things like that. I want to know who the person is behind all those trappings. When I say relationships, I mean all of my relationships here, of all varieties and of all levels. Even if I only speak to somone for ten minutes, at that moment I am in some sort of relatonship to that person and I will do my best to put my all into that, and to really respect and understand the other person and to leave us both feeling good about our interaction. If you're asking me what my favourite things in life are, it would have to be shagging, getting tw*tted and dancing- all of which require other people. Dancing or getting wrecked alone just doesn't appeal at all. Does that answer your question?

                                    essex_chris:
what's your biggest regret? I don't really have any. I do wish I'd started training a few years earlier, although I wouldn't say its a regret as such, just something I'd do differently. There are plenty of things I've done that were perhaps unwise, but they have all been learning experiences for me and have all shaped me in some way.

                                    Westy:
what brought you to muscle talk in the first place? did you stumble across it, or were you told about it? I was doing a bit of background research into AAS's and stumbled across it. I was reading posts for ages before I signed up. I liked the vibe of it here, and so started chipping in to discussions... the rest is history.

how long have you been using anabolic steroids, did you use them before you were diagnosed? and (this may be a little personal, sorry if it is) do you get some on prescription to prevent muscle wasting, or is that not a factor? I was planning on doing a course to get me over a plateau I was stuck at, and to get me to my target. I had it all planned out and had got hold of everything, and was just about to start and then I had a really severe seroconversion illness. I lost over a stone and a half in just under two weeks I looked and felt absolutely dreadful. I waited a couple of weeks for the medication to start doing its thing, and to get back to the gym, and then I started the course. I put all the weight back on, and actually looked better than I did before, but it was so frustrating to have to use them to get to where I was originally. They worked well, and my consultant was very impressed with how effective they'd been. I was also fortunate in that I was getting bloods done every month, so they kept a real close eye on me and on my recovery. I don't get them on prescription, but I think I probably could if I could justify it. I certainly could in some EU countries, so I could see a doctor somewhere else and get them prescribed no problem.

and finally...say you were really trying to impress someone, who has no special dietary requirements, what would you cook them for dinner? If you're angling for an invite, all you have to do is ask....  anyway, good question. I'm not entirely sure. I think it would depend on whether I was going out just to impress, or if the impressing was just a prelude to 'other activities'. It would also depend on the time of year. Perhaps a Greek mezze (loads of little dishes, appetisers of different sorts), if I was going to impress as that always works well. That would be more for a group of people though as there's always tons. Or maybe if it was a more intimate occasion, perhaps my mushroom stuffed lemon sole in mushroom and wine sauce. For a lighter meal if 'other activites' were on the agenda, then four mushroom salad with truffle oil and smoked salmon tagliatelle, perhaps. How does that all sound? (I'll probably think of loads of other things after I've posted this)

i like the sound of the tagliatelle :) I'd better get cooking then, hadn't I? it only takes ten minutes and I've got all the stuff for it in the fridge now as well...

and also, i have to ask, 4 figures is a staggering amount of people to have sex with! how do you meet that many people willing to have sex with you?! While I'm in clubs, mostly. There's no shortage of it out there. And yes, I am choosy, before you ask. I had a weeks holiday back in March and my friends kept tally. I managed 38 in a week, so getting to a four figure number is not that difficult.  After club parties soon increase the numbers, too. I'm a sociable chap, and friendly and always get talking to people. I am very happy going out by myself, and have done so all over the world. By the end of the night I've always made new friends and if theres a party happening afterwards, I usually manage to track it down. Anybody who wants to come out with me and verify this just needs to PM ;0)
