Sorry bud, I like them though. Their songs both calm me down and then others fire me up!

Quick question, Ken, before you're de-interviewed tomorrow!

What do you feel that MT could do to improve the profile of strongman in the UK, and to improve the profile of strongman on MT itself?

I think just support some more events that take place in the strongman calander, I'll maybe send you some details about the comps myself and the gyms at the gym run up here in Scotland; Scotland's Strongest Team and also Scotland's Strongest Man U105kg and maybe we could sort something out if you'd be interested. Mind you I would have to consult with my co-promoters first.

I think to improve the profile of strongman itself on MT could possibly to add a strongman and also a powerlifting sub sections to the power and strength forum so that individual questions could be directed in the appropriate sub section. Not too sure on that one really mate.

Details of event please send to Hazel and they will goin the Calender.  But, limited finances permitting, we'll see what we can do.

The problem here is the P&S section is only moderately busy, and having sub-forums would mean each becomes less busy on it's own, plus people posting in one section would miss posts in others, so the cumulative effect would be actually fewer posts than currently.  I have considered this before.  I think if the whole forum was busier, then it would be worth doing, but currently, I see the cons out-weighing the pros, I'm afraid.

We're still waiting to confirm final details for the comps, but once we do I'll get in contact.

Definitely see your point about the sub-sections, sorry I don't have anymore ideas mate.
