No not lately, the last one rejected again, leaving an even nastier scar, so that may just be my lot for modification - my body just does not seem to like it very much!!
ouch!
was it to do with the materials used in the jewellery?
I've heard of something like bioplastic, some people dont get on with titanium I guess.

I've tried all sorts to be honest, my body just seems to not like certain mods - I went with implantanium this last time as I have used it before no problem.   Who knows?

Given that you haven't tried the 100% bars TIO mentioned, have you tried any of the Willy 100% Cacao that you can get in Waitrose?

There was a series on Channel 4 about the guy and his exploits.

Lovely stuff - but just not that great that it's worth the extra price - nearly triple the cost of 70% quality chocolate
Awesome pic, but Tony you're not doing yourself many favours posting up tips on preventing the gag reflex and then a picture of a guy touching his toes - Ak

Regarding your comments on alternative medicines and your views having been changed. Could you please elaborate?
              hi Kitty, sure.

I think it was posts from JK2 that got me questioning this whole area.

I read a book he recommended about the placebo effect, I knew what it was of course but this explored the subject in more depth and she light on exactly what was going on with much of the alternative treatments.

Looking back it seems as if I suspended my disbelief in order to accommodate things that fitted in with my general ‘hippy’ world view at the time, I like to think that had I examined my beliefs I’d have seen that most of it didn’t add up...perhaps I’m being over generous, I may just have been gullible.
Rose Shapiro’s ‘’Suckers” is a good read on the subject

Thanks, shall have look at that sometime . I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist (James favorite) and don't really practice anymore as I soon realised most ailments were relieved with a more sensible diet anyway!! The worst people who came to see me had the worse diets and as soon as I got them eating fresh and less processed crap they suddenly felt better!!

Kitty, presume you wouldnt consider nutritional therapy to fall very much under the alt medicine category?
The idea that food affects health is hardly unorthodox after all'. or do you mean that some of the teachings were a bit wacky and that you no longer adhere to them?

Will there be hammocks in dappled orchards and downhill bike rides and that kind of thing?
yes please Jk, oh, I  thought you'd never ask you handsome hero you.

When I retire I want to live in the computer generated utopia that will come along just in time before I pop my clogs, I'll be able to download my personality into the virtual body of some amazonian she-god sort of being.

My mental picture of you is pretty much Queen of the Amazonian She-Gods already.

What advice would you give to a young girl with an ambition to enter the haloed ranks of the Amazonian She-Gods?

Not sure but if it real would it gradually dilute out of the eyeball with the moisture!!  Plus they don't seem to be able to actually tattoo very well.

Have they never heard a scalari lenses - a lot less permanent!!

Actually no they are not, they take a specialist to put them in as they are solid and cover the entire eyeball.

Just had a look online - cant find reference to scalari lenses which were glass - it looks like they now do a soft full contact lense which may be easier to apply.

I was once made up to look like a werewolf victim for a make up test and I had to have one lense inserted that made it look like your eyeball was missing and the other was missing the actual lense - it was quite graphic and possibly the worst thing I have ever had to have put in my eyes and I wear glasses and contacts.
