** Members' Interview with medusa_**
24 September 2009 11:10
( permalink)
This week member medusa_ has kindly agreed to be interviewed. Please use this topic to ask her any questions about lifestyle, training, diet and progress - or anything else - though please, nothing too personal or invasive. Please bear with her and give him time to reply. medusa_, thanks for agreeing to take part in this interview,a few questions from me first; 1) Can you give us a brief rundown of how you got into working out and how long you've been training? 2) What is your current occupation? 3) You were previously Medusa, then left MT and rejoined as medusa_, was it the intellectual debates in general that drew you back or something else? 4) What would you say is your most memorable achievement to date? Thanks!

Given the significant proportion of male ego on MT - as a woman do you often read posts or threads and roll your eyes? How do you deal with the attitude of people in general that men + training = good & makes sense versus women + training = why? (assuming that you have encountered it of course) Who is your favourite essex based member ? Slightly more serious note; What's your favourite bodypart to train? Is is the part the development of which you are most proud?
Awesome pic, but Tony you're not doing yourself many favours posting up tips on preventing the gag reflex and then a picture of a guy touching his toes - Ak

As a female, who do you believe is the most alpha male on MT?

Hi Hazel, Hazel 1) Can you give us a brief rundown of how you got into working out and how long you've been training? I've been a bit of an exercise addict since my teens, always admired muscular/athletic physiques in women and so was drawn to resistance training in my early 20's...so thats about 20 years now 2) What is your current occupation? I help my other half with his business (landscaping) 3) You were previously Medusa, then left MT and rejoined as medusa_, was it the intellectual debates in general that drew you back or something else? Umm, I cant think of a good answer to that one! 4) What would you say is your most memorable achievement to date? I havent done anything memorable that I'm prepared to admit to

(assuming that you have encountered it of course) On here I shoot my mouth off now and again, in the gym I'm as quiet as a mouse, plug myself into my ipod and pretend Im not really there. Who is your favourite essex based member ? Who are the contenders? Slightly more serious note; What's your favourite bodypart to train? Is is the part the development of which you are most proud? I like training back, and I'm quite proud of my quads, although they are not what they used to be

badladmark If someone were to meet you for the first time, what would you want them to think about you after the meeting. That I was reasonably intelligent Any hobbies other than training and intellectually kicking the backside of guys on here? lol....reading Music, movies or books.. which can't you live without? Books without a doubt And on that note- favourite type of music, fave film, fave author. Music, I still lean towards the heavy rock stuff that I liked when I was younger. I cant think of a film, author, again cant pick one out but I recently read we need to talk about kevin'' and plan to read more Lionel shriver, and am reading Margaret Atwood just now

badladmark oh yeah, another. What are your views on feminism? it's a big subject...umm, how about all this squabbling between men and women serves to distract attention from other inequalities and injustices, the 'divide & conquer' angle

Why the name Medusa? And on the subject of feminism, would you say its biggest weakness is that all its proponents are female and that it therefore is inherently flawed?
