What are you views on weight categories in Strongman competition? How many Kcals do you consume on an average day?

War Lord I see your bodyweight and age are in synch, would you like to keep that going for a few years and at what point would you want to stop? How far do you think you can get in Strong man and what would you say your chances are of winning WSM some day? I think I've probably stabilised now at 300lbs, although I will lean out and then add more muscle weight over time, but think about 140kg (308lbs) is a good weight for me. I know I can eventually place in the top 10 in the World and would love to come top 3 at WSM at some point.

Packup Pete What are you views on weight categories in Strongman competition? How many Kcals do you consume on an average day? I've been involved in many debates about weight classes that I won't get into here, but overall I think that classes like Open and U105kg are find, but it starts to go a little too far when there are U75kg categories coming around. No longer 'strongman' IMO. I don't intake an aweful lot, maybe only about 5000kcals a day, I gain very easily and have to watch what I eat to stay at this weight and not gain a load of fat. I think that I can eat a bit junkier now that a few years ago as my muscle mass has increased alot so metabolism is higher.

To be honest mate, all I do really is strongman, uni and then relaxing with my girlfriend either getting something to eat, out at the cinema or just relaxing at home.

I'm T-Total mate. Never really got into drinking when I was in high school, was too knackered after the gym on a Friday evening to do anything apart from crash out on my bed in front of the tv having a munch. Sometimes I wonder if maybe I'm missing out, but then I just think about all the things I've accomplished over the past 4years of strongman and don't regret it at all.

I was always the bigger kid in school and was always the stronger one of the folk I hung around with. I gained strength very quickly when I started training and I also did alot of manual labour type stuff with my Dad when I was younger and think that was also maybe a realisation that I was pretty strong for my age too.

Who'd win a fight between Scot Mendelson and Andy Bolton? What are your top tips for getting stains out of carpets, clothes etc?
