Mike 1st attempt at cutting!

After going to the gym for 18 months while not really looking after my diet, i have decided to attempt to cut down my bodyfat to a goal of around 12% from im guessing about 24%. Ive decided to run this from feb 1st to may 1st to see how i get on and i know once i set this thread up it will drive me forward in my goal for a lean muscular defined look. I will be using y3t training as i like the variation and think it will help prevent boredom while on this 12 week journey. I think the hardest part of this is uploading pics but we all need a starting point. My stats I weighed in today at 14st 1lb im 5ft 10, my measurements are as follows; calfs 16in stomach (gut) 40 in waist 38in quads 24in arms 14in chest 40 in My first day of y3t was actually the 31st of jan, my split will be; Day one- chest and biceps day two- legs day three- back and abs day four- shoulders and tris unless done at a different time each workout is followed by cardio which increases every week week 1 is 20 min week 2 30 min week 3&4 40 min. i will be doing sscv post weights i will also take some amino energy intra and bcaas before cardio followed by 2 coops of on whey or hydrobuilder when session is over.

You have to use imageshauck or photobucket to down size them. You do realise you had to have them up by the 9th of jan? still be a good idea to run an unoffical SUC to monitor your progress. good luck

No type it in google then just sign up. upload the pics on image shauck first then get the codes off the site then the little button on here that looks like a tree click that paste the code in there then it should come up takes a little playing around.

 So here are the pics, although there not very good and make me look really small i think but heyho should look a lot better in 3 months, would love to get really cut enjoy the summer and then look to lean bulk. kokelly Thanks for the help titch much appreciated, great pic by the way. thanks mate ,Its hasnt worked mate im sure it says get codes for websites somewhere on image shauck copy and paste that code then insert it when you click on the tree, it took me ages to get it right. If that dont work view the pic click right hand button go to properties and copy the url code and insert that. hope that helps

Typical e.g daily nutrition is 1 scoop whey,cla and banana on waking amino energy intra wo hydrobuilder postwo 10 am 3 whole eggs on 2 slices of wholemeal bread 1pm 200g chicken breast half a sweet potato and 2 handfuls of broccoli 4pm 1 scoop of whey 2 oatcakes 1 tsp of nat pb 7-8pm e.g salmon fillet carrot and suede mash mixed veg before bed 1 scoop whey and peanut butter

Started week 1 day 1 of y3t yesterday and did back and abs wide grip pulldown 3x8 62kg ng pulldown 3x8 62 kg tbar row 3x8 60kg seated row 3x8 60kg hanging leg raises 3x10 bw reverse crunches 3x10 bw incline crunches 3x10 bw 30 sec plank between (start easy on the abs as never work them directly and doing legs next day) 20min sscv treadmill Legs 1/2/12 leg press 3x8 142kg leg ext 3x8 91kg ham curl 3x8 84kg squats 10 x 65 8x105x2 8x 145 sldl 3x8 85kg did 30 min 5aside football on evening Could of gone heavier on a few of the above but concentrating on nailing form. diet very close to e.g on both days but its the weekends that are testing.lol!

Alright mate, best of luck with the reformation. From the looks of the pictures you should make your goal in 4 months. I went from fatter than that to a 6 pack in about the same timeframe. Good session there too.

Diet looks good just need to keep to it and you will see the results tupperware will be your new friend. Will you be planing any cheat meals i have mine on a sat night keeps me sane and something to work towards. keep up the hard work.

Will you be planing any cheat meals i have mine on a sat night keeps me sane and something to work towards. keep up the hard work. Im gunna try to stay strict until sunday when i play football at 10.30 am for 90 minutes and theres usually chilli back at the pub so will prob have a small bowl and slice of bread and then a nice sunday roast later in the day but sure it wont harm me too much after running around like a goon for 90mins lol! RZORO- Thanks for dropping in, its a shame i couldnt start with the jan suc but im really just concentrating on doing this for me and aiming for a lean muscular physique for may rather than the tellytubby in the pics lol! heres hoping anyway!

So day three of this y3t week 1 and hit chest and bis at the gym 2nite had a superpump max sachet preworkout and amino energy during and hyydrobuilder after, defo felt ready for the sesh even if gym was packed with deusches taking up all the benches! so improvised a little- chest press machine (as no bench free) 3x8 65kg (felt twice as heavy as 65kg bp) butterfly machine 42x8 56x8 63x8x2 incline db press 3x6 60kg had rest pause last two reps ez bar curls bar+30kg 3x8 alternate db curls 32kg x12 (too heavy form bad lasttwo reps) 28kg x 12x2 close grip ez curl bar+20kg 3x8 (awesome pump after but shattered arms)

Woke up this morning and ran at a steady pace for 20 minutes fasted with the dog whos shattered now (only a little jack russell) so cardio done and will be hitting shoulders and tris later to complete week one of y3t!
