Milk Thistle

Hope this is in the right place, I realise it does not relate to muscle building but milk thistle is nutritional for the liver. Would it be worth taking milk thistle to reduce any liver damage caused by alcohol consumption? I am not taking anything else that is toxic to the liver but I do drink at weekends, usually around 10 pints. I find these days hangovers are much worse, is this due to liver damage? Would the cell generating properties in milk thistle cure this?

Since I've started taking Milk Thistle I've noticed that my hangovers are much less severe. I take extra on the night I plan to drink, and the next day although not fresh as a daisy I can certainly function much better than before. Not sure about it treating damage already done, though.
I hurt myself today, to see if I still feel. I focus on the pain, the only thing that's real. Trent Reznor- Nine Inch Nails.

Not sure on recommended dose tbh as I've only ever used while on DS cycles, when I take 1200mg ED. Then when drinking i just take this plus a few extra caps. Again, I don't know if this is recommended, this is just what I've done in the past with good results. I'm not on a cycle now and have some coming in the post with my next whey order. Will prob take 900-1200mg ED. They prob won't last too long with upcoming festivities...Christmas do's etc
